If Melo is serious about "winning now" though I don't think there is any chance he chooses to sign with Boston rather two playoff squads with pieces to contend, like Chicago and Houston.

id give it a 5% chance melo ends up in boston, but in the off case he and love go there while rondo stays on the team im going to go ahead and call them a top 4 seed, arguably top 2-3 depending on what happens with indy/mia/chi (for all we know miami could be just bosh next year)

Chad Ford mentioned during his chat today something along the lines of a Larry Sanders + Brandon Knight for Lakers #7 pick move.

It'll be interesting to see if we can really get something that good for Larry after the year he had this past year.

I wish the Lakers were that dumb.

I really think Raptors gonna be trading 1 or more of their picks(20th for sure as 1 of the ones being dealt). All their pre-draft workouts.....so many guys aren't projected to even be taken,and if they are,it's 2nd rounder.

Ennis is only for sure 1st rounder who's even attended their workouts. So either they'll trade up to draft Ennis(and hopefully it means Lowry is back + Vasquez goes to SG) or maybe even trade pick(s) for some player?

I wouldn't assume that yet. It's very early in the process still. Players will want to work out for teams with higher picks before they start working out for Toronto, and the really high guys haven't really done workouts yet either. Even Milwaukee hasn't had any first round guys in yet, and they pick 2nd. The only first round guy we even have a workout set up with is Dante Exum.

again why the fleep would boston take another PF? i mean ffs you cant use 5 bigs in your lineup... and who the hell is kristaps porzingis....

I think Gordon has potential to be a small forward, Tayshaun Prince style. He might be a natural PF but he's so athletic and has so much potential defensively that he could be SF in a pinch.

The more I read about Vonleh, the more I'm opening up to him. We need big men that can stretch the floor, as Favors and Kanter do most of their work inside the paint. His length his amazing, too. 7'4" wingspan isn't bad at all.

Being that he's only 18 right now, I think he has a ton of potential. Could be an Aldridge/Bosh/Dirk kind of big man and I'd be ay-oh-kay with that. Then again, he could potentially be a huge bust, too.

Porzingis is a nice prospect. Stretch 4, but also a great shot blocker. He'll need to get a lot stronger to make it in the NBA though. That's his big weakness. I'd be very interested in him for Charlotte at 24, but the rumor is he has a promise from OKC at 21.

but again he is a 4.. the celtics probably have more "4's" than any other team

i honestly believe vonleh is the best bigman available outside of embiid.

he can play 4, or 5, he can defend, he can rebound, and he has 3pt range. Im not sure why anyone would want 1hand randle or what position am i gordon over him.

all jokes aside, having watch many gordon games i have 0 confidence he can be a SF. I dont see him even coming close to having nba 3pt range consistantly. I called him derrick williams without a 3pter and i still believe that, except with a little more defensive upside

they need a marcus smart/gary harris/tj warren/kj mcdaniels far more than another 4...but again im still holding out hope those picks are for minny
