That's something I hate though. A good Canadian player could be drafted around Raptors pick, but they have no use for him. Lowry likely staying, and Vasquez staying too(not to mention Vasquez is in love with the city, and has his whole fantasy about playing with his old HS friend Kevin Durant), so no need for a PG.

Anytime I ever talk about the draft/Raptors for next month,I'm saying same stuff. C is first priority,SF is second priority, either a draft pick or a veteran backup in free agency, either would be good to have.

goodluck finding a C in this draft though. Outside of embiid the next best is probably mitch mcgary in round 2 ><- (guys who can play nba center, not college)

Nurkic is really the only C in the draft I'd want Raptors to get(not including Embiid since they obviously won't get him).

        In a fantasy offseason,I'd hope:

        Get rid of:
Fields & Hayes(Novak as well would be a bonus)

        Bring in:
        SF draft pick
        C draft pick(Nurkic)
        Veteran bench SF
        Veteran bench C

Aside from that, don't really see anything else that can/should be done this offseason. Don't want to ruin chemistry too much on the team.

Jusuf Nurkic is gonna be good imo.

The Raptors have a workout scheduled with Ennis and a bunch of undrafted guys. Gotta figure they're shopping the pick.

I think if Wiggins is gone before Philly picks at 3, they'll be looking to trade down. Hopefully the Top 2 are Embiid and Wiggins, and Utah can trade up to 3 for Parker or Exum.

We're bringing one of the two back. Alec isn't a RFA until next year, so he'll be back at least for next season.

Hayward is a different story. I think that we'll resign him no matter the cost, but depending on his price, we might look to use him as trade bait. The thing is, is that we can't use him in a trade before the draft because he's a RFA.

Still, I'd like to see us lock down both Alec and Gordon. Alec is a hell of a scorer and he could be a potential Sixth-Man of the Year down the road, and Hayward has a skillset that's hard to replace, especially in the draft.

I could see us offering Philly the #5, a 2015 pick, Golden State's 2017 1st, and either Kanter or Favors for the 3rd pick.

I think that's probably about what it would take to jump up. Everyone pretty much knows that you guys ended up being right where the drop off is unfortunately, so you'll have to pay a good amount to jump up into the top 4.

It would be interesting to see if Philly goes for it though. Smart isn't really an option for them at 5 because he'd probably be a poor fit with MCW, so you'd have to think they go Gordon or Vonleh there most likely. My guess is that they'd do it if you include Favors, and then they'd take Gordon at 5 and pick up a guy like Stauskas, Harris, or LaVine at 10 and continue their rebuilding process.

I can't believe Favors is still only 22 years old lol. It seems like he's been in the league a long time now.

I think there's a good chance that Philly tries to trade for the number one pick. It seems like they've got their eyes set on Wiggins and if they really want him they can't risk him being taken by the third pick. Philly could offer the 3rd and the 10th pick, although I'm not sure Cleveland would accept.

Philly needs to stand pat and draft Parker and keep their 10th pick

Man, if the Cavs could go down to 3rd, get either Embiid or Parker, and get the 10th pick...

I would think that deal would be done today.

I doubt Love would re-sign in Philly though.

Philly has a lot of cap space though, so if they maintain flexibility it makes more sense to try get him as a free agent and have 2 top 10 picks to pair with him.
