Don't know why he would take a fadeway with that matchup and the way Denver defended him all game.
He was fouled though.
Edit: Nevermind, saw a better replay he wasn't fouled.Last edited by NYJets; 11-30-2013, 12:21 AM.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

The cavs do some real wacky things. But they seemed prime to make a move this year. Looks like the wackiness backfired I.e rehiring mike brown, drafting waiters and Bennett

Both of those picks were highly questionable at the time and still are and they haven't proved the naysayers wrong. Irving was supposed to be a leader but who knows. The wizards and cavs are huge disappointments

I SEE YOU Derrick Williams!!
EDIT: was pretty cool of Cousins to give Griffin a "I wasn't trying to hurt you" pound after that play even though he doesn't like him...Last edited by The 24th Letter; 11-30-2013, 12:24 AM.Comment

Crazy shot by Westbrook for the win!
But really when Durant kicked it to Ibaka he should have immediately been looking to give it back to Durant on a hand off or something. No reason for him to take a decently contested jumper when he had enough time to get the ball to Durant.
Great hustle to keep the miss alive.Comment

They still have no real "size" though, and it was apparent last night. Jamal Crawford kept the Clips in the game down the stretch. Regardless, I think last night was a great confidence booster to the young team. Looking forward to seeing where the season takes them.Twitter - WTF_OS

The genius of the Knicks.
Previous timeout Woodson has an opportunity to draw up an offensive play to be run after the intentional foul and subsequent possession since the team has no timeouts left.
We can assume that's what any good coach would do.
Knicks intentional foul. Nuggets miss one of two. Knicks rebound with 19 seconds left.
The offensive set: Melo dribbles the basketball for ten seconds. Clear out. Melo backs in for 8 seconds. Melo fade away. Block/miss.
That was the offensive set drawn up??!
Fire Mike Woodson. He's done. Guy has become one of the worse coaches in the league since the Indiana series. Looks completely outmatched.

Via Twitter...
- Melo now 1 for his last 15 on potential game-tying/winning shots in last 30 seconds of a game. Was 5-of-14 in 2011-12.
- Of Melo's 15 game-tying/game-winning attempts over the past yr, his 14 misses were all jumpers. The one make was a layup vs ATL last yr

I've kind of adopted the Kings as a Secondary team (after talks throughout my region of moving the Kings to Louisville before that fell through), but I really like what Derrick Williams brought to the team last night. I think they could be a pretty exciting team after they gel a bit.

They remind me of what the Spurs would be if we had some athleticism, lolComment
