^^^ you have to also add in that...the nba product will be alot less attractive if gm's keep taking risk on these young boys for their potential

if it were me...im not drafting anyone who can help my team get to at least the conference finals within his first and second yr

    i'll trade the pick for a veteran...i need w's...

no i think it is good for the nba that lebron and melo are in now. How can you say it is making the nba less attractive. Besides not many gm's seem to be agreeing with you on your thoughts of taking veterans over rookies.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

im sure a good amount of these college ballers hardly go to class...so if your gonna force them to stay in school for three yrs...wow...consider the graduation rate abymsal

also...if it were passed...no one would graduate...elite players that is...cause they will just leave after their senior yr...

also...alot of these kids come from harsh financial backgrounds...you shouldnt take their oppurtunity to provide for their families away

What you said is true but I'm not feeling it.

                        Why?

Because before Kevin Garnett got drafted, all the players from bad backgrounds and all the not so bright guys that could play great b-ball went to college anyway and succeeded. I mean, guys came out at the least their sophomore year.

If this happens, it could mean better college ball...and also better players coming into the league. Even if they go overseas, they plays pro ball and learn how to shoot because that's all they do over there.

this year's draft is an absolute joke when it comes to those coming out early. The Knicks tradign their first rounder this season looks to be quite smart.
