What is this Mumbo Jumbo Kobe is talking about??

I'm a huge Tmac fan, even with that, I know Kobe is a fantastic player. This guy is amazing in his moments. Is he now ego tripping by what he has started yesterday? HE comes out with this trash about how they double teamed him and so on, yet, I've seen kobe beat double teams before, shucks, I've seen him not able to beat them, and forced up multiple shots even though he probably knew he couldn't make it.

Now at a crucial time in the Lakers season, after coming off another tirade of Phil Jackson's criticisms of his shot selection, the guy purposely skips taking shots, and blames it on double teams. What? You mean to tell me if people want to blow the Lakers out, all they have to do it double Kobe? I mean C'mon. What is happening here. Turns out after the game, Kobe is smirking in interviews which some teammates don't take kind to about. What is he doing? What is he trying to prove here?

Does he not like Phil Jackson so much that he'd do something this cynical, at the time they really don't need it? Is this what is going on? It makes no sense. Can you trust him now if Phil decides to say something else to him. Kobe is a very smart player man, what gives though?

It's a lose-lose situation for Kobe and I think he's finally noticed it. Just last week he was criticized for taking too many shots, and now he doesnt shoot and he his criticized....what is he supposed to do? I mean honestly...I'm really confused too.

Wow, thats a dunbass comment. Kobe was criticized for taking 70 shots in the last three games on a team with shaq, malone, payton and a solid bench. No one said dont shoot kobe, it was about better selection and unselfish play. Unselfish play doesnt mean passing the ball all game when you have the skills of a kobe bryant to defeat defense. If anything what he did sunday was selfish because he was obviously taking a big game and using it as a statement, maybe to phil jackson. Its pretty selfish to put up a front like kobe did while passively allowing the kings to pump up their lead.

IMO what kobe did yesterday was worse than what a few players (Melo, Chris Mihm, a couple others) did in not coming into the game when the coach told them to. Think about it, I'd rather have kareem rush on the floor playing hard than kobe smirking and passing up shots and using "double team" as his reasoning.

Double teams should never stop a superstar. I have never heard/read such [censored] in my time following the NBA.

Sounds like Kobe wants out of LA if he's pulling these kind of stunts. I don't think Kobe has ever really done this kind of ish in regards to his game and how he is viewed by teamates and Phil.

Oh well if he wants to be a baby let him. It just makes me smile all the more

Okay so if Kobe took 25-30 shots in the game yesterday, he likely would have been criticized for it, no? Think man, think. It just happened last week, it would likely happen again.
