Okay so if Kobe took 25-30 shots in the game yesterday, he likely would have been criticized for it, no? Think man, think. It just happened last week, it would likely happen again.

Re: What is this Mumbo Jumbo Kobe is talking about??
I really don't think he and Phil see eye to eye at all.
It's funny because laker fans out here are talking about Kobe and the loss, while Shaq all by his lonesome is the onely one complaining that the refs made them lose.
Seriously, I have no idea what kind of statement that would prove though. Doing that in a big game trying to control how Phil runs the team won't work. I hope that isn't what he's thinking. It can't be. Kobe is too smart for that. No question that won't happen the next game. It's all unorifessional though.
I wonder if he is really thinking about leaving ?Comment

Re: What is this Mumbo Jumbo Kobe is talking about??
He's just setting this up for the playoffs. When they face the Kings, Cristie and Company will think they got Kobe covered, until he goes on a tear and averages 40 for the series . . . watch.
On a more serious and non-fanboyism note, both you know, and I know that Kobe could have easily broken through those double-teams. Now I'm not sure if he was AVOIDING shots, I just think that Phil told him to be more passive. I'm pretty sure that after all this crap the media puts on him, he got confused to the point where he thought it would be best to just pass it to his teammates. Obviously he picked the wrong time to not be Kobe, but hopefully the media, Kobe, his teammates, and most importantly, Phil Jackson realize that the Kobe they need is what you guys call "the selfish Kobe." I'd take 30, 5, and 5 with 25 shot attempts rather than 8, 4, 5 with 11 shot attempts.
BTW: Kobe, never do this again . . . never. This, IMO is an all-time low. Worse than the air-balls in Utah and the 40 shots for 40 points incident . . . if you did do this on purpose.Comment
