How so? And I don't wanna that Carmelo's stats are better. If you call .5 being a mile ahead, then something is wrong. Their stats are comparable. If anything, LeBron averaging more assists, by almost 3 whole, in my eyes gives him the better stats.

This is ridiculous. Neither Lebron nor Carmelo proved he was clearly better than the other. It should have been co-ROY, but it isn't.

I don't really care though, just thought I'd weigh in with my 2 cents.

Ya it is. The scoring title is given to the player who scores the most, regardless of how close it is. If a player scores 1 more point in the same amount of games, that player takes it. Everyone else loses the scoring race. If those same 2 players are being considered for an award, neither one will be given an advantage in scoring. The same goes for the other statistical categories.

They also only marginally resemble the team they had last year. They made some big roster changes that really helped out their performance on the court. You can make an argument that the 2 teams are equally talented or the Nuggets are more talented, that's not a big issue, but without a doubt the Nuggest played better as a team this year. Can that be entirely attributed to Carmelo? Hell no. Can some of it? You bet.

The Nuggets performance this year should play a factor in the ROY decision, however, I don't think it should be the deciding factor. I'm confident enough in the NBA that the voters are intelligent when it comes to the NBA and basketball in general and will take into account all the necessary factors when making their decision. I'm not going to buy into some rediculous conspiracy theory that some people have suggested. If they pick one over the other, I'm sure there was a good reason for it, and not some hype BS.

If you, or anyone, could make a convincing enough argument for Carmelo, I certainly wouldn't deny it. Personally, I couldn't give a [censored] which one of the 2 gets it, they both had a stellar year. However, I haven't seen an argument that made it perfectly clear who should get the award, it's too close...

you have got to be kidding me. Lebron is a way better all around player. Carmelo just scores (which he does well) but lebron can score probably better than melo, and he can involve teammates. On defense i am not quite sure who is better but i imagine it would be lebron because he is more atheletic.
