Saying Kidd plays no offense is probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I think Mike Tyson saying he wanted to eat Lennox Lewis children was a smarter comment then Kidd playing no O. First of all, offense is not shooting ability. Kidd is one of the best offensive players in the NBA because he is able to make his teammates better, and set them up to make shots. Second, Kidd is one of the best players in the NBA in driving and scoring. He is able to go strong to the basket and score. Third, he's an underrated shooter. His form is not pretty, but he hits big shots, especially at the end of a game. Look at Kidd's stats from last year's series against the Pistons compared to Chauncey Billups. Game 1, 6-19 for 15 points for Kidd against 3-12 for 11 by Chauncey. Game 2, 8-21 for 20 points by Kidd vs. 4-13 for 15 by Billups. Game 3, 11-21 for 34 points against 3-7 for 7 points for Billups. Game 4 he shot 10-21 for 26 points vs 1-8 for 6 points for Billups. Yet Jason Kidd plays no offense? What a joke!

IMO the only way to beat the Pistons is to hit jumpshots over top of them. The Nets are not a good jump shooting team. Pistons win in 6.

dam i really want the pistons to win.
i just have a feeling that jersey knows how to win. I think Nets win easier then expected.

If Sheed is healthy, Detroit definatly has more talent. Detroit simply has more balance and is deeper. Kidd, Jefferson, and Martin are a talented front 3 but after that, New Jersey pails in comparison to Detroit. Detroit has 4 guys who are either All Stars or are borderline (as in very close to being) an All Star with Wallace, Wallace, Billups, and Hamilton. Prince is more talented and well rounded than any player New Jersey has after their big 3. Memo, who comes off of Detroit's bench, is more talented than any other player on the Nets after their big 3. Also Detroit has very good balance and no real holes (if Sheed is healthy). The only way New Jersey wins this series is if Sheed is too banged up to hang with Martin and if Jefferson absolutly destroys Prince.
