I never said he was the best in the league at going to the basket, just that he was good at it. When the Nets have to rely on J Kidd for points that implies that Martin and Jefferson aren't scoring so obviously the Nets are better when he doesn't score as much, but he definitely is not a liability. I don't know where you got your ten shot a game theory, but Kidd almost always shoots over ten shots a game, and the Nets have been doing fine. The difference between the Nets last year and this year is that they now run isolations for Jefferson when their offense is stagnant, instead of totally depending on Kidd. Anyways, this argument will be irrelevent after Jason Kidd destroys Chauncey Billups like he did last year, and the Nets win the series in 6 games.

Last year, last year, yada yada yada... The difference is, Billips isnt playing against Kidd one week after a severe ankle sprain like last years playoffs. Take the blinders off bud.

Im not even looking into the last Piston/Net game too much (you remember, the one the Nets cheered because they scored 71 points) and you are still looking at LAST YEARS playoffs? Ha!

It's funny that Pistons fans always cry about injuries, and yet it doesnt matter that the Nets had 2 of their best players hurt in the last game they played. And Chauncey Billups could never dream of being even half the player that Jason Kidd is.

The X factor will be Sheed. He is good a getting in people's head and Kenyon Martin is not good at walking away. K-Mart is still crying about Desmond Mason boxing him out. I can see K-Mart fouling out or getting a few technical's. Sheed has calmed down from his younger days when he averaged 1.4 Technical's a game but it will be a battle of who can keep there cool.
