Damn Lakers, I just wanted one game from their floor. Now we gotta take care of our home.

I'm going to game 3 so I'm gonna be cheering like mad for our team. Hopefully they'll come out strong and not have a weak start and climb an uphill battle the entire time. It's tough when teams have to do that. Especially against a solid defensive team like the Spurs.

I still feel like the Lakers can win tho. It's just gonna be a lot tougher.

The team just doesn't seem to be playing well together yet. Shaq and Kobe are doing their thing, but Malone and Payton aren't really flowing like the rest of them. Just gotta that everyone will play well on Sunday.

    Goooo Lake Show!!!

Oh, btw, that crossover Parker did on George was downright nasty. And he got that floater over Shaq. That boy is a balla. Straight nasty!

      Re: Spurs/Lakers game 2

Anybody catch what Barkley said at halftime about giving a hard foul to Parker when he comes down the lane?

I'm all for that. I'll be the first to say that Parker is playing out of his mind, but I wish the Lakers would give him something to think about when he penetrates. This is playoff time and I'm a firm believer in the idea of "no layups"

I'm also glad that Phil decided to let Payton post up a few times. Phil rarely ever goes away from the triangle, but at times I think he needs to. The Spurs attack the Lakers vulnerablility in the pick and roll, so I think the Lakers should exploit the Payton/Parker match up on the offense.

Payton posting up isn't the answer to the Lakers problems. It isn't necessarily the offense either.

I think its funny that this series is over before the Miami-Indiana one starts.

That can go both ways. If they intentionally hurt Parker and there's no serious suspensions, then it'll be open season on anyone who drives the lane.

Did the Wolves have a 2-0 lead on the Lakers last year?
