They dont have anyone who can stop Duncan or Parker.

    Payton, the Glove?? Whatever...
He didnt do anything much for the Lakers all season.

Spurs will win 4-1 or 4-0 and go on to win the NBA championship.

How about you talk about this when the series is over?

I find this a little funny considering Laker fans are usually trying to hang the next championship banner a month before the season starts.

I hear what you are saying and sometimes the secondary defense isn't getting into a help position, but when they do I want Parker to pay at least more than a "couple" of times. I don't want Shaq to "get to the shot" I want him to get to Parker.

I agree here that some bandwagoneers do that very thing. I just say let the series end first, then you'll see the boards flooded with post you won't see right now. I've noticed Spurs fans don't brag about the team. Skillz is the only one who will come remotely close to it, but he doesn't take it that far. When the series is over he'll get plenty of chances if/when the Lakers falter.

No problem, man. I think "offended" was too strong a word. I just wanted to point out Kali is nowhere near comparable to Satan or Hades or any other god that rules over Hell. Actually, in Hinduism, the god that is in charge of the Underworld would be Yama. I knew you were referring to Temple of Doom, but I think that movie seriously does damage to Hinduism, and there's quite a bit of controversy involved in that.

Kali is a goddess that is greatly respected in Hinduism. The Thuggees, however, did exist at one point in time, but I don't think they were a cult that worshipped Kali. Their objectives were to murder and that's it. I think this was during the late 1800's in India.

That was what Michael Copper was saying to. THe Lakers should apply the no-layup policy. If Shaq is gonna commit any stupid fouls (reach in fouls), he might as well make sure that Parker thinks twice before coming to the basket. If Malone does it, he is automatically dirty, but I don't care, he built up that reputation and he should stick with it.

Posting up Payton will help the Lakers a lot. Phil Jackson has to take advantage of every mis-match he can get against this defense. Parker isn't playing any defense on the idle Payton, he is just resting up and getting ready to run. Taking Payton to the block can lead up to foul trouble for Parker, easy buckets, double-teams, and even if he does miss, Parker won't be at half-court by the time Spurs get a rebound.
