    Re: Spurs/Lakers game 2

Good analysis, but GP knew what the system was before he came. He played against the Bulls in the finals when they used it. He should'nt be complaining or fighting what has already been an established system.

What I meant by Rush and Cook is that they are young and inexperienced. I figured the Lakers would lose yesterday when they started shooting 3's like NBA 2004 on all-star mode. That's a no no. Remember NVE's famous quote.

Rush needs to improve on his defense though. He's too one dimensional at the moment.

Anyhow, if one of these guys decide to take the next game into their own hands instead of lose, they will lose. If Karl or Gary says, I'm not getting 1 mil this year for nothing and decides to just try to take it, it won't work. Same for Shaq and Kobe. They don't get the role players involved enough, they'll squander in the end.

I think LA would have been better if they had just picked up Benedict Arnold, I mean Elbows Malone.

I'm not asking them to turn the clock back and become the Bad Boys or anything. Just make the Spurs earn it on the line.

I don't remember what Spur drove baseline yesterday and dunked and instead of fouling or at least contesting the shot Karl just stepped out of the way. The Lakers took a timeout and Jackson was yelling at Malone. This is the kind of thing I'm talking about. Karl knows the Spurs aren't the greatest freethrow shooting team.

Lakers will win game 3 and then the Spurs will finish them off in Game 4 and 5. I don't even know why there is a debate here.

Well, the Spurs could always sweep the Lakers just like the Lakers did them a couple of years back.
