yeah it looks to me like Lebron has planned stuff in the long term to stay in Miami, too much to uproot his family again....it seems his kids love Miami, they're going to school there, his wife has her own juice bar which i'm assuming is doing well, his mom probably loves being there too, it's a perfect vacation spot where they don't even have to go anywhere

Lionel Hollins is gone now so Byron Scott it is. I don't understand our strategy of waiting around.

Realistically.. if Miami misses out on Gasol and Ariza, which is likely, their best option is Deng (who isn't really looking to take a paycut either)?

The more this plays out the more I just don't see how Miami can upgrade.

I said it day 1 there's not much upgrading I see them doing. We saw this same thing with the Celtics when FA's stopped taking pay cuts and they had to settle for an aged Shaq. If I'm MIA I'll keep it in house give guys like Beasley and Cole bigger roles and get a guy like Marion. Not much they can do IMHO.

Something big is going to go down before this is all said and done. I can't see Riley swinging and missing as hard as it's looking like may happen here in free agency. I don't know what the move is, but it's gonna be a move that we talk about the rest of the summer.

Also, on another note, it's always fun to see Chris Broussard made a fool of. From a local Bulls reporter.

But that has nothing to do with the level of Derrick Rose’s recruitment of Anthony, as a source confirmed to CSNChicago.com that the former league MVP did spend time with Anthony during Tuesday’s visit to Chicago. While the Bulls’ point guard wasn’t as directly involved as teammates Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson, his daily workout routine was shifted from the Berto Center to the United Center for the express purpose of crossing paths with Anthony.

Rose’s workout wasn’t necessarily designed to prove his health to Anthony, so he didn’t fully interrupt his routine just to court the small forward — perhaps leading to ESPN.com’s depiction of Rose only exchanging a “brief hello” with Anthony, a report that has led to the rehashing of the Chicago native’s perceived anti-recruiting stance — but afterwards, Rose did spend time with Anthony in the Bulls’ locker room, according to an individual with direct knowledge of the situation. Maybe Rose, given his introverted personality, wasn’t as effusive as the more outgoing Noah and Gibson in expressing his desire for Anthony to sign with the Bulls, especially given Noah, in particular, building a relationship with the coveted free agent, but he certainly isn’t the type to go against the organization’s goal and he absolutely was made aware of the day’s proceedings.
ESPN needs to fire that dude.

Thats not what im getting at all here. But its likely that the heat team next year will be worse than last year. Lebron couldnt carry them to a championship, so why should i believe he could do it next year? Besides i said the west should have free rain for the next few years, not free reign till lebron retires.

Worse than last year? Couldn't carry them to a championship? You know they were still three wins away from a three peat right?

EDIT: I don't think it can really help the recruiting process not having a coach in place though, 23.

King, realistically what can Miami do though?

I dont see guys lining up to go there anyway until Kobe is gone if they're looking to win.

You know whomever it is is probably going to have to wait til Kobe is done gunning for some meaningless career scoring record before they start to think about winning it all again.

Now will people please quit pulling things out of my posts that i aint even saying, tryna read inbetween the lines or something. Im just saying the east looks even weaker if things do play out the way were anticipating them. Thats all im saying, i aint tryna indicate that lebron is done or none of whatever yall think im saying.

All I'm saying is if Lebron and Melo go west they might as well make the eastern conference the nba equivalent to the minor leagues lol
