Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Sidenote: **** espn. "Do you think the Cavaliers want you?" Oof. There's a million and one ways to phrase that question but no they went for the meanest one possible on a day where the rookies should be having fun. Bunch of ****ing snakes.
"Make a case to Lebron for why you should stay on the cavaliers." Wow.
I give props to andrew. It was awkward but he managed to not give them that elusive quote that in their world is equivalent to blood for vampires.Comment

2014 Off-Season Thread
Not really....
Brons been doing his tours, camp and stuff, Wiggins had Vegas and has been doing his rookie thing, teams haven't started camp.... I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't even seen each other yet....I wouldn't be surprised if Bron hasn't seen or spoken to half his teammates...he hasn't even done his introductory conference...
I think Wiggins exclusion from Brons letter is much more curious than thisLast edited by The 24th Letter; 08-04-2014, 05:32 AM.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
But he's had time to call Kevin Love to recruit him? I don't exactly have the proof, but I'd bet he's at least spoken to, if not texted most of the guys he'll be playing with on the Cavs. Most of the big name guys anyway. Andy, Kyrie, Tristan. Dion. Not saying they had to have some full blown convo, but a quick text here or there? Is he even following the dude on Twitter? By itself, this raises an eyebrow, this added to the fact that he left him out of that letter? Big red flag.Comment

At this point I'm pretty much expecting wiggins to be traded, which seriously sucks.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I think if the rest of the rooks were asked if they've heard from the vets on their team, I think more than half them would say not yet, or nothing beyond a initial text or open twitter message once they got drafted...In LeBron's case, a text would be pretty awkward at this point anyway, lol
Like I said, from the gate, it's hard to beliveve /bron just forgot to include Wiggins in the letter....but I am honestly not surprised they haven't spoken...Comment

Come on wwharton lol. Not serious about Twitter, that's more of a joke line, but it does show my point that there are multiple avenues to address someone here in 2014 where saying two millionaires were too busy to exchange any sort of correspondence with one another is kinda ridiculous.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
You can't say that was a joke line AND it shows your point. No offense but I think the whole post is pretty laughable and that's just the worse of it. Wiggins is playing wherever his contract says he's playing and Lebron has nothing to do with any of that. If the first time he speaks to the kid is the first day of practice it won't make a difference. It's just a big reach.
you mean EVERYTHING right?
if lebron goes to the front office and tells them to keep wiggins hes not going anywhere..Comment
