My point, is that this is obviously a problem. The NBA CAN'T let this happen.

I'm with you. In theory I would hate it, even though I had no issue with their initial joining..

but nothing will come of this but a photoshop...so there's nothing to get upset about...

That's the equivalent of the Lakers trading Kobe or the spurs trading Tim Duncan lol ain't happening.

Considering my favorite team is a joke right now I want it to happen just to see how bad twitter/forums implode. That being said, I doubt this happens. Melo would be giving up a TON of money.

Let's get Love to the Celtics while we're at it.

I really wouldn't mind both of those transitions taking place.

lol,if it happened,I don't think there could be a more hated team in pro sports history. Ironically though, probably would also be biggest bandwagon supporting team in sports history as well.

It's always funny hearing/reading the reactions from people when big name players go to certain teams.

This one rumor, which isn't going to happen, has already got people ready to burn the league down but if it had said "Melo seriously considering Hornets/Kings/Cavs/Jazz/Bucks" there would be 0 ****s given about it. I'm moreso just making fun of the reactions, not making fun of anyone here BTW

Dwight Howard in trouble with the media again: http://www.beautyworldnews.com/artic...bs-proving.htm

I don't really care what he does off the court, it doesn't bother me. If anything it will give him a gangster reputation.

And as for Melo on the Heat, I have mixed feelings because I would like the NBA again if this happened but people would also call me a bandwagoner all over again for being a Heat fan even though I was a fan since 2006 because of Shaq.

I don't know how anybody can be confident that this isn't happening. Any other rumors, okay, I get that. But we've already seen Pat Riley pull this kind of thing off already. Why isn't it going to happen? Cause of the money? Already seen that not mean a damn thing.

I'll call it news when he opts out and makes a visit to South Beach.

Yea, don't really see why this is a story at this point. People have been talking about this as a possibility all year, and it's not exactly news that if Lebron, Wade, Melo, and Bosh are all willing to take less money the Heat would be interested in having them. Let's at least wait until they all actually opt out before we get crazy

I would love to see Melo on the Heat just because of the amount of butt hurt it would create. Dear God please let this happen.

I've been saying for the last year that he's not going anywhere(Because Wifey Talks and Money Talks and I don't think Melo has it in him to turn that much money)but just to entertain this...I want to see him troll everyone and go to a team like the Kings or Bucks or Jazz or even the Wizards(moreso the former 3).

Just so Melo can hit everyone with the "Oh, ya'll just thought I was gonna go to Chicago/Houston/Miami huh? Well guess what...

                              <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/jeqVeRknD5k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

                              Now THAT would be hilarious.

This this situation is a little different. These guys are all just a bit older, this is their last contract. I don't see them taking all taking a second paycut. Especially Melo, wasn't it an issue for him to be turning down the difference between a NY and Chicago/wherever contract? Now he's going to take way way way less than even the Chicago deal? Don't see it.
