Would it really be cool though? Lol. I wouldn't want to see him back there.

If we keep our pick and can still get Love, we're looking at Kyrie, SG, LBJ, Love, Embied(who I think we take). If we have to trade our #1 pick, it gets harder, but a core of LBJ/Kyrie/Love, is a solid core. Just depends who is surrounding them.
It's still a rebuild man. It's going to take them at least two years to gain the chemistry they need to compete for a title let alone win it. James aint got no time for that.

Cleveland still sounds like a rebuild to me, no matter how you try to spin it. They may be a bit further building than other teams but they still lack any sort of identity.

Not cool as a heat fan lol, but I'm also a huge Lebron fan. As a Lebron fan, it would be pretty cool to see him return back to his hometown team to win them a chip and finish out his career there. There was just something special about him playing there. I just started high school his first year in the league and I got my Lebron jersey before I got a Wade jersey and I lived in Miami lol. I tried to model my game after him and even wore the 23. I repped Cleveland just because of him even though the Heat were my team. When he joined Miami is was like perfect for me, so obviously I want him to stay. But I can't lie and say it wouldn't be cool to see.

It would take time, nonetheless I still think a team of LBJ/Kyrie/Love would be able to contend in the East. I do agree though, we lack an identity, especially when we go through 2 coaches in 2 years smh. That said, I think LBJ could fix a few issues for our team, or any team.

LeBron and 4 other bodies could compete in the east. Isn't that what he did in Cleveland the last time? I don't think Kyrie/Love/LeBron would fit well, but that's just me.

Actually, theyd be perfect. Kyrie and love can make plays, there both 20+ scorers, and they can all shoot it from deep. It'd be like miami but younger. If they get a knock down shooter at the 2, then a solid center who can rebound and block shots, all they would need is a bench of waiters and more ring chasers, and theyd be a bigger threat than miami. I doubt that this will happen, tho it is fun to think about.

Even without Love, a Cavs starting lineup with Lebron/Irving/Embiid/Thompson would be crazy to see.

Yeah, no real need for Love. Though I guess he couldn't hurt anything by being there.. But I don't think Love wants to go to freaking Cleveland lol. And nobody, who knows he won't resign there, are going to pay the price to get him.

If LBJ came back, along with Kyrie and Love, its easily the best talent LBJ would have compared to the last time. Mo was solid as a second scorer and ball handler, but no where near Kyrie. I think a LBJ/Kyrie/Love could play together, Kyrie and Love spread the floor, and both are able to create their own shots. Pick and roll/pop would be great no matter who was involved, and would get guys solid shots.

Cleveland would have to add outside shooters and a lockdown perimeter defender at least.

Though I doubt Love would accept a Chris Bosh type role. With Kyrie, Lebron, Dion, Jarrett Jack...he's not getting many touches lol.

Don't know why everyone is blowing up the Heat apart or thinking LeBron could possibly be in a better situation if he left. Sure Miami got outclassed by the Spurs but lets not forget- they are easily the second best team in the league. Had OKC, Clippers, or any other team made the Finals instead of the Spurs, I'm sure we'd all be having a different conversation right now. What Miami needs to do this off-season is to make adjustments for sure, but nothing major. They need someone to replace Battier- a defensive wing to take the load of LeBron who can also spot up for the 3 (e.g., PJ Tucker, Sefolosha, Deng, Marion, Wesley Johnson). I truly believe the duo of Chalmers/Cole is sufficient enough and I do think Allen will give it one more year. Another area to address is rebounding, so perhaps going after someone like Varejao. Then we have the Melo scenario .. which imo is more of a luxury than a necessity but nevertheless will undoubtedly be a good thing for LeBron so as not to drain him through the season.

Thats the thing though, I dont see LBJ looking at us as our roster is, even though I wish he would. Kyrie, Dion, LBJ, Bennett/TT, Embiid, with a bench with guys like Andy, Jack, Zeller, Miles, Delly and Bennett/TT depending on who starts. We have plenty of young talent, just need that experience and consistency to be good.

I know I wouldn't leave if I was Bron. Miami is a class organization from top to bottom and is one of the best cities in the US to live in, especially if you got money. Lebron is only getting older and we can put him in the best spot to win now. It also looks better on his legacy to stick it out here.

I think for Lebrons sake it's either Cleveland to stay in Miami. Personally I'm thinking he stays in Miami. It's very hard to leave a team that has gone to 4 straight finals for a team that has gone to four straight lotterys.

I mean, I guess in a way it almost makes Cleveland a bit more attractive in the sense that the team would have the talent without Lebron getting the label of "ring chaser". Plus he would get the credit for pulling Cleveland out of the depths.

However I don't see him going back to Cleveland until his "MJ Wizard" days. Just me, though.

And I disagree that Cleveland would be in rebuild if Lebron went there. They would have 2 all stars, solid starters at each position (assuming they pick Embiid) and an ok bench. They would need some time, as would any team with that much change, but the talent would clearly be there.
