My brother said he read from NBA central on twitter that Melo apparently said "I would rather go to Cleveland than Miami"... So if the LeBron and Melo are wanting to join forces maybe that's the location.

If LaLa really has power, she ain't going to ****ing Cleveland.

I mean, basketball wise it would make, like, a ton of sense. But no way in hell anyone is going to team up in Cleveland to make a super team.

My 3rd Cousin's GF's hairstylist said she had heard from one of her clients that Melo would consider joining up with Wall/Beal in DC.

Lol that's basically what the offseason is about to become with this Melo stuff.

I'm just saying, if that was a true quote from Melo then maybe we could kill this "Melo to Miami" stuff. Because they for damn sure aren't both going to Cleveland lol.

              Not sure I posted this:

Sounds like the Cavaliers final 3 is Gentry, Lue, and David Blatt. And there is a lot of local mouthpieces saying that the Blatt talk is heating up.

Would be a very intriguing hire.

Don't worry there is still time for them to hire Mark Jackson and/or Byron Scott.

So Woj is also reporting that Anthony is leaning towards leaving for Chicago or Houston.

Carmelo Anthony is currently leaning toward leaving the New York Knicks in order to play for an immediate title contender, with the Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets considered favorites.

Anthony met with officials from the Knicks on Friday, which had little impact on his present state of mind.

The Bulls and Rockets are working on contingencies to clear enough cap space to sign Anthony outright, though they could also engage the Knicks on sign-and-trade scenarios.

"His heart is in New York," one source familiar with Anthony's thinking told Yahoo Sports, "but he wants a chance to win now."

League sources say that Phil Jackson has turned off Anthony with his public declarations that he take less money to re-sign with the Knicks. There's also doubt across the NBA whether Jackson truly wants the Knicks to re-sign Anthony.

Anthony isn't as concerned over a novice head coach in Derek Fisher as he is the depleted roster.

Woj also reporting Houston is doing all they can to lure Anthony

The Houston Rockets have prepared Dwight Howard and James Harden to recruit Carmelo Anthony as their third star to become title contenders.

The Rockets will need to unload the expiring contracts of Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin to clear most of the space required to sign Anthony.

Those two players could potentially appeal to the Knicks in sign-and-trade scenarios.

The Knicks have told teams that they do not want to take on contracts that last beyond the summer of 2015, though Asik could be a player they ultimately want to sign long-term.

The Rockets have the flexibility to sell Anthony on a full-max contract in the range of $22 million-$23 million per year, or can offer him the chance to keep teammates like Chandler Parsons, Patrick Beverley and Terrence Jones on the roster by accepting less money on the deal.

                          Nor a halfcourt offense

In all seriousness though, I wouldn't mind seeing Anthony on either the Rockets or Bulls.

Harden and Anthony are two of the heaviest ISO guys in the league, it'd be interesting to see how that plays out. Dwight would never get the ball

Depending on what Riley can do...Melo on the Bulls with even a semi healthy Rose would lock up the East for the foreseeable future IMO....

Really depends on what Chicago would have to part with or let go to get Anthony. I know there are reports out there that say the Bulls wouldn't have to gut their team but we will see. If they have to part with say Gibson and/or Butler, they aren't going to be a lock for anything.

Now if they could simply get rid of Boozer, then sure, that would be a damn good squad.

If Melo leaves(y'all already know my thoughts on that)then his whole thing trying to force a trade to NY 3-4 years ago is/was simply a waste of time.
