Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
LeBron should do a decision part 2 and act like he is going to go back to Cleveland, only to say **** you to Dan Gilbert and pick somewhere else again (presumably Miami).Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

also he said lebron is going to cleveland LAC or houston if he leaves, and that boston is by far the frontrunner for love since GSW wont trade klay and the bulls prefer melo.Comment

Hornets PF Josh McRoberts opts out. He'll probably get a contract in the $5mil range, and I know we want to bring him back.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
That would be a good deal for denver ,even if love wont sign an extension right away. Trading faried who's about to ask get paid and chandler isn't worth keeping, if gallo is going to be back next year.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
you most definately do not trade faried, and your best perimiter scorer from last season for a 1 year rental, you just don't. unless of course a 30 win season sounds like your highest goal.. also who knows how gallo is going to be after missing over a year with the torn aclComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Faried probably isn't in there long term plans. He is going to want a sizable contract soon, but his play doesn't really help Denver (the hustle points and active rebounding are at the cost of good defense, play time for their other bigs with large contracts, and size)
As for Chandler, he was their best perimeter scorer last year, but he plays the same position as their best perimeter scorer period. They should trade him now while his value is at the highest, so they can get a decent return (or in this case, fantastic) and improve in other areas.
Now, as to whether KLove will help this team.... probably not a whole lot. He will rebound at a high rate, space the floor a bit better, and help them with their size problem and if he doesn't resign, they do clear up some cap room, perhaps make the playoffs as the 8 or 7, and prepare for the following off season in a better light to other free agents. If I were Denver, I'd do it, its a fairly low risk deal barring injuries (the injury bug wouldn't get them 2 years in a row now would it?)
I like it for Minny because they get a deep team like Denver did in the Melodrama, and hopefully they can turn that into future assets. And the Magic come out clean as a whistle, clear up some room for their youngins, and get yet another prospect.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
but does orlando really want a 3rd pick? sure the draft is great but you can only have so many young players who are going to want to get paid/playing time. im also not convinced denver is being smart about not wanting faried in their future, hes a real solid player who gets boards and gives energy. ill take him if they dont want him
also, there are better offers for miny to take with many more assets, just sayinComment
