    Re: Shaq to the Heat

If I'm the Heat, I would complete this deal as fast as I can. They would have a nice lineup with Wade, Jones, and Shaq.

Oh, geez. You sound like those impatients GMs -- they have a great squad NOW. Wade, Jones, Butler, Odom, and Grant -- Wade, Butler, and Odom are only going to get better. Shaq has 2-3 years left in him. If they pull off the trade, I don't see them going any further in the playoffs than they did this year.

Lamar Odom's and Caron Butler's best years combined won't be better than a 35 year old Shaq's year. You sound like one of those GM's who are like "let's not trade this 12 year old Lil Bow Wow fan for a 7 time All-Star because the Bow Wow fan has potential damnit POTENTIAL!!!!!"

Heh, okay. If you were the GM of the Heat, I would let you go ahead and screw up your whole team. Your choice.

If this happens the Heat are easily a powerhouse in the East.

As for the Lake Show, they have to find a deal, and this one looks decent.
