Look at Caron's stats 2 years ago. They're pretty solid.

15 pts 5 boards 3 assists 2 steals

Thats something that the Lakers can use, plus he's still really young. He has a chance to be a great player, he just needs good coaching and the right atmosphere to excel.

I hear u man. U are right abour rasual being good , and if it is to get shaq cb is a silly reason to wait
if u compare Ras to Caron then u got to look at CB's rebounds in comparison to Rasual it will surprise u. CB also has the great track record at uconn.

I know Caron had a great rookie year..I've heard all about his potential and the comparisons to Paul Pierce..But when you can have Shaq on your team,you have to pull the deal,especially when they aren't even asking for Dwyane Wade!

yea imagine how a good player like magic johnson would have done with a teammate of shaqs caliber. Kobe has to renew his focus , but he also needs to learn to take care of his responsibilities as the primary perimeter ball handler on his team. Sometimes above all the wonderful ability Kobe seems like he doesn't understand the game very well.

His whole career so far could be summarized by the microcosm of him waving off a screen on the perimeter - Yea he has beautiful ability , and perfected skill , but he serves his filet mignon on a garbage can lid.
