Re: Cavaliers willing to forgive...
Lebron and Boozer were very good friends. And oh, the Jazz "ONLY" missed the playoffs by one game because of Harpring's injury? What about McInnis' injury? The Cavs would have been a 5 or 6 seed hadn't it been for that injury. Much better team than the Jazz. And how can you compare Lebron to Kobe and MJ at this point in his career? If I am not mistaken, Lebron averaged a lot better stats than Kobe did in his rookie year.

You forget the Cavs play in the "weaker" conference, also known as the Eastern Conference. Utah is always a contender out West where the big boys play. And just because the Pistons won, doesn't make the Eastern Conference any stronger.Comment

Re: Cavaliers willing to forgive...
Utah finished the regular season 42-40. Cleveland finished 35-47. If the Jazz played in the EC last season they probably would have gone something like 52-30 at least last year. Now put the Cavs in the WC and they would likely finish 15-67 or somewhere nearby. Just something to think about when comparing the Cavs with the Jazz.Comment

Re: Cavaliers willing to forgive...
The Jazz have made the playoffs almost every year for a while, but they also had a better team back then with Stockton and Malone. Last year, every NBA analyst said that the Jazz were overacheiving. The Cavaliers would have been a lot better if they would have had the same lineup throughout the season. For the first half of the season the Cavs were playing with a fungus (ricky davis), and D. Miles who would only show up once every 5 or 6 games. If they had McInnis, Battie, Williams for the whole season, they would have finished with 43+ potential wins, and who knows, maybe more. I don't expect a whole lot out of the Jazz this year, just because last year they played over their heads.
And just because Detroit won the Finals doesn't mean the Eastern Conference is any stronger? What are you smoking? Detroit was the best team in the League last year. Indiana was one of the best teams in the league last year, so "the big boys" don't just play out west any more. We could continue this debate all we wanted, but it is going nowhere. The fact remains that Cleveland is an up and coming team. Lebron, Carmelo, Wade, Yao, Stoudamire, etc. are the future of the league, and to say Lebron won't be as good as Kobe is insane. Try comparing the two at the same age. What will he develop into? Who knows? He has the potential to be better than anyone in the NBA if he keeps developing like he has thus far. He has the skills, knowledge, and determination to turn into one of the greats of the game. Will he do it? Only time will tell. Whoever wouldn't want to play alongside of him, is ignorant as was your statement. Boozer has said time and time again that he loved playing with Lebron, and argued about Lebron not being included in the All-Star game over Paul Pierce and others. That says a lot right there.

Re: Cavaliers willing to forgive...
An argument can be made that the eastern conference was weaker due to the number of teams with losing records that made the playoffs. That being said, the Cavs have a much brighter future than the Jazz, unless a big market team swoops Lebron up when his contract is up.Comment
