Yeah, they have forfeit their 2.7 mill cut. That says alot that they would basically pay close to 3 million bucks to distance themselves from Boozer and his actions. Whoa.

And to address Jazz vs. Cavs.... The Cavs played close to .800 ball after the McInnis trade(with him in the lineup)which was a nice 2.5 month stretch, so I think the basic perception of the team is that if those 12 were in place for the entire season, the Cavs would have easily been a major player in the East, with around 48-50 wins. Problem is that elite teams lose key players and still find ways to win, and when McInnis got hurt, the Cavs fell completely apart. If they're THAT fragile, they're not quite ready yet.

The Jazz on the other hand played fairly consistently all season in a tougher conference without their 2nd best player, so I gotta go with the Jazz as being better LAST season.

This year if Wagner can stay healthy and justify his lottery pick status, Luke Jackson is able to step in and contribute, and Booze re-signs...Its Cavs, hands down. I'm not completely sold on Arroyo, Memo or Harpring as anything but fringe role-players. We'll see.
