I guess I'm just wondering if we offered him the minimum, who was the team that was going to swoop in and steal him from us?
I don't follow man so I'll leave it alone.

Id need to see how they look after the offseason. There are some pieces out there that can compliment them well. But right now its not looking good. They are losing/lost a lot of core pacer experience over the last 2 years.

Lakers tickets will always be expensive man especially as long as Bean is still there.

Oh yea I know that, but I don't see them raising prices after this upcoming season though.

If a Knicks team with just Melo can be pretty much the worst team, a team of PG and Monta is far from a playoff lock, even in the east. They'll probably make it but won't make any noise

As long as they stay healthy, a core of Hill, Monta, PG is good enough for a playoff spot in the East. We have a good bench as well so long as resign Stuckey.

Cmon man we almost made the playoffs with Hill, West and Hibbert all missing time and PG missing basically the entire season.

Looks like NBA teams are using variable pricing so the "hot" games will command big money.

If the Lakers struggle again this coming season, attendance may decline but when the Cavs come into town, demand will probably shoot up and unsold tickets will cost more.

If our sorry ***es can sneak in there on the last day of season after nearly coughing it up in the first place, then ya'll definitely got a chance to get in as well.

And seeing how teams are constantly rotating playoff spots in the East every year, I don't see why they couldn't get in. But then again, this is the offseason where damn near EVERYONE is a playoff team or a "team on the rise" until the games start.

Who's talking about them making any noise in the playoffs? This is strictly about them making the playoffs period. Yeah, yeah, we all know the problems with Monta, but he can also win you a lot of games too and that was in the western conference he was capable of that. It's not like the east is loaded with killers. The only real year to year locks for the playoffs in the east is Cleveland, Chicago, Washington and maybe Toronto. Everybody else is a "maybe they will, maybe they won't" year to year. Indy WAS a lock until PG broke his leg and even then they were able to be right there. Losing West and Hibbert will hurt a bit, yes, but these dudes aren't irreplaceable pieces man.

So Atlanta goes from #1 to not a lock? Man people's opinions on that team are all over the place lol.

Sources say Koufos' deal with the Kings will include a player option after Year 3 that allows him to return to free agency in summer of 2018

you cant assume you can cut and paste players into a system and assume they can pick up where the other players left off. More times then not it takes more than a year for players to gel. Lance, Hibbert, West, PG, hill all had at least 4 years and were most experienced guys under Vogel staff. The roster now only has 2 of those guys left

I concede they might battle for 8 but right now its too early to tell how the east looks after the top 7
