One of their leading scorers only played 27 games and their top 6 guys are all under the age of 25 and still improving. They also gave up the lowest amount of ppg in the league last year, and have one of the best rim protectors in the game.

I really don't see how they won't be better.

I'm just gonna go ahead and call it now. The Timberwolves are going to make the playoffs. Barring injury, they're gonna finish 6-8. Somewhere in there. So you can put them on the list of teams better than the Lakers.

Kobe stays healthy, a halfway decent hibbert, and a productive Randle, Lou, and Russell make can get them an 8 seed

I might be biased, but I would take my magic roster over Utah's anyday of the week.

Didn't mean to double post. I tried to edit my last post but hit reply

Hibbert is trash. Kobe is a decent player now (2 years of major injuries and 37 years old color me skeptical). Randle has how much meaningful NBA experience? Russell is a rookie. Lou Williams? Ok.

You're telling me that's a better roster than the Jazz? You realize that the 8th seed this year was a 50 win team? That Lakers team is a 50 win team?

8th seed was 45 wins, but i dont think were getting 8th unless kobe stays healthy and randle and russell have rookie years that would earn them co rookie of the year.

                    Except Randle isn't a rookie...technically.

Technically he is though, because he didn't play last year. That's how Blake Griffin won his rookie of the year award the year after he was drafted.

Do you think its going to take 50 wins again? I dont...

I think people are dumping hibbert to much. He needs to be used similar to how deandre is used with the clippers. Move your feet, defend the paint. Get his points off hustle, back door cuts, and putbacks. Post up against obvious mismatches. He is capable of playing that role.
Bass can hustle, rebound and knock down the mid range. Randle is no scrub, and im not sure why the knock on lou williams. I think he is an upgrade over nick young.

Its all a bunch of what ifs, but all im saying is if everything falls into place, (healthy Kobe, randle and Russell playing decent ball, and hibbert playing his role), lakers have a shot of sneaking into an 8th seed.

They may or may not end up being a huge mess, but they definitely have a lot more talent and a better coach.

Either way it won't matter, neither of them will likely make it in.

I agree on the Kings coach well if he is still the coach for the year and talent which is mainly Boogie really but with all the dysfunction from top to bottom they'll suck just as well.

Please don't group one for all, wait dude is not even a laker fan he's a magic fan, anyway there's no way we're making the playoffs case closed.

As for Ex probably just getting back from DJ house to get him back in Clipperland
