Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
**Breaking News**
Adrian Wojnarowski has agreed on terms to re-sign with Yahoo on a 4 year deal.
Sports Illustrated was rumored to make a serious run at signing the veteran.
Industry sources say Mayer made a significant long-term commitment to build a franchise around Wojnarowski, who has been at Yahoo since 2006.

2015 Offseason Thread
Wasn't Cubans whole issue that Dre didn't go about in the right way, not that he changed his mind?....don't really see any parallels between the two situations...
Plus.......its Richard Jefferson...Last edited by The 24th Letter; 07-21-2015, 10:59 PM.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I wasn't really talking about Cuban though. I was just saying in general that we had to even go into the whole "get rid of the moratorium" discussion here and the entire sports world descended on the NBA and pretty much hijacked Twitter for the day because of DeAndre changing his mind. People were flipping out and pounding the desks for change to how free agency works because he screwed the Mavs by changing his mind. There isn't a phone call in the world that he could have made that would have kept all the other bigs out there from agreeing to deals with other teams so it wasn't just about him not picking up the phone.Comment

Wasn't about that for who? The fans? I guess.....because he certainly wouldn't have been the first guy to change his mind...would've sucked in the end for DAL but I seriously doubt it would've been anywhere near the fiasco it was if he sat down with Mark.....Comment

"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Jared Dudley is out 3-4 months following lower-back surgery. Guess that explains the Bucks trade...NFL: Bills
NBA: Bucks
MLB: Cubs
NCAA: Syracuse
