ESPN sources say that the Denver Nuggets have waived Pablo Prigioni, which means Nuggets and Rockets have completed Ty Lawson trade

Also Ty Lawson had to agree to make his final year unguranteed

Yea my bad, I thought that had signed somewhere else and then remembered he did resign.

This deal keeps getting better for the Rockets...if he works out, they can lock him up for another season or if he doesn't, they can use him in a trade (expiring deal) at the deadline/during the summer or cut him loose and get the cap relief themselves.

Deandre addresses most of it in the video though. He said it was a tough choice for him to make and he decided that he made the wrong choice and wanted to resign with LAC. Also I love the media and fans. They blow this stuff out of proportion so much. Like we discussed when this happened but it has happened before it will continue to happen as long as this legal tampering period is alive. We all have made choices we have probably wanted to change and probably have changed. Also wondering how much they spent on the meal that night? Over/under $199

Not much detail there but that's just the gist of it in summary. I like Blake's account more but I'm sure we'll get that interview soon.

Crazy how guys like Marcus Camby was at his house and the entire time they were at his house they had been done with basketball meeting which was at a hotel.

The crazy social media thing want even true but funny and crazy

If he does well, he can opt out and go for bigger money in free agency next summer. Or if he doesnt like the situation find another team

The way I read it, it sounds like he gave the team an option on his final year. How does that allow him freedom to opt out and/or find another team?

Ty Lawson can't opt out...he gave that option up for making the last year of his contract non-guaranteed. He's now at the mercy of himself resurrecting his life/game and getting the final year of his contract guaranteed or he flops/doesn't work out in Houston and then the Rockets let him go to free agency in 16-17, hoping then someone will give him another chance.

Just a guess: maybe it was agreed upon as part of getting Lawson out of Denver?
