No they didn't. You're thinking of Iman Shumpert. The Bulls have said he's out indefinitely. A timetable for his return won't be determined until he actually has the surgery. The hope is that he'll be back in time for the season opener however.

It's not a majority of Bulls fans. There is a very vocal group of fans though that have turned on him however. When you go to the games, the building still goes absolutely nuts when he's introduced, there are still a lot of people that defend him and support him throughout all of this stuff, but there definitely is a crowd that have gone the other way on him. Stuff like his media day comments don't really help though.

My bad. I thought I remember reading it was Rose.

Hopefully Derrick can fully recover from this unfortunate injury, once he gets back on that court a lot of the"fans" who turning on him will back rooting for him, that's usually how it goes.

Dunleavy also just had surgery and is expected to miss some time, so hopefully whatever Hoiberg implements can get Snell and McD going.

Derrick Rose expected to resume basketball activities in 2 weeks. Surgery was successful, world can relax now, but we know it won't.

I've never liked Rose, I don't know if it's just cos he's a Bull and I don't like the Bulls cos of the Central division rivalry, but he could've been a great player and he's been cut down constantly through no real fault of his own. I think what Westbrook has become is what Rose should've been. A lot of the hate and negativity from that vocal section of Bulls fans isn't so much towards Rose and what he is as a player, but more through disappointment that their main guy hasn't been able to be there for them. It's a shame. I won't lose sleep over it because I hate the Bulls, I want them to lose, but I don't want a guy's career to be destroyed and for him to get hated for it.

I never liked Rose or the Bulls, but wow that kid has some awful luck with injuries, that its hard not to feel somewhat sorry for him. Ive never felt Rose was a guy that could be the top option and lead a team to a championship, always felt he needed to be a number2 and look more for others than his own shot, an felt that that way when he was coming out of so called college. Hard to call playing for Calipari going to college, lol, although I do think most, anyway of the Kentucky players are actually smart and take school serious, but that for another topic on another day. I will say I can see why some Bulls fans are fed up with Rose, and I think its more about how he goes about his business than it is hating on him due to all the injuries. Just some of the things he says is downright stupid, like worrying about how he will feel after his playing days, and preparing for a big pay day when he isn't a FA till 17. Its obvious over the years of watching him he isn't the brightest guy, probably why they had someone take his SAT for him, but you would think after all the missed games his main interest would be being and staying healthy, but it don't seem to be.

Oh man this gave me the chills. It's a lifetime chance to grow beside KG, Prince and Miller. They're doing it perfectly.

I like Tristan Thompson. He's improved every year. He's beaten the average return of a 4th overall pick in a typical draft. He's one of the few bigs that can trap and recover with any kind of consistency. He knows his role and he goes hard every game.

I ain't trying to get in that man's pockets buuuuuut this feels like he's overplaying his hand.
