We were wondering who got better this off season. Well the team that went 73-9 did.

Not even concerned honestly, Id still argue the two best players in any GS vs CLE series play for the Cavs. Plus never count out SAS and Popovich.

The Warriors answer to trying to beat a healthy Cavs squad? Never thought the answer would end up being Durant lol.

I could see Curry's ankles fail him, and it becomes Durant's team.

What happens if they start off 4-5? Mass hysteria?

Comparing NBA to NFL and MLB is tough because it isn't just about the CBA its about the sport. Baseball and football and have bigger rosters and they have more players that play. So there's a lot of options for building a team. Baseball you can build a contender even without elite players. Basketball thats almost impossible. Plus the fact that baseball the playoffs are basically a crap shoot, and football each round is one game, so if you get in you have a chance. Basketball the best team usually wins a best of 7. I think those reasons are why other sports have more parity than the cba.

I like the NBA's set up. It rewards good drafting by letting you go over the cap to sign your own guys. Gives incentive to players to stay with their own teams. And usually the top guys do. And like someone said, OKC had Durant for 9 years, I don't think its a problem that he left. Warriors were smart and locked their guys up to cheap contracts, and that's why they could do this. Get rid of a cap, and instead you'll have dumb big market teams like the Knicks and the Nets just throwing around billions to cover up their mistakes.

I'm with P.J. Carlesimo on this. KD's earned the right to go wherever he wants. At the end of day it's just basketball. Moreover, a GS title is not guaranteed. There are some interesting trade rumours floating around. If the CLE one is true and happens they can defn beat this GS team.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Westbrook now. No way he stays in my opinion. OKC should get back a 1st rounder or two if they decide to deal him and start the rebuilding process.

Nah don't think so. They'll have an average season and win 68 games lol.

The problem is, Cavs roster on paper so far have regressed. They've lost Delly and Mozgov and JR is still a question mark. They haven't added anybody either. They're currently sitting on $77 million in cap and that's without signing LeBron yet.

Only question I have for GSW is that if LeBron keeps attacking the paint, like he did in the Finals, whose to stop him especially now without Bogut/Ezeli. Heck, how would they defend Aldridge/Gasol duo? Would be a huge height mismatch...

It's pretty clear that GSW just intends to outscore everybody. They are so stacked that you're gonna have either Curry, Thompson, or Durant wide open for a three pointer. And now they also have someone (KD) who can actually get to the FT line. So it pretty much doesn't matter if they can't defend, they're really going all in on this small ball thing (even though KD is really like 7 feet tall).

Yea the Cavs to make some moves to improve on what we lost, especially with Delly most likely gone. I also hope the Cavs dont panic and move Love. But we have yet to see the best from this Cavs team, Kyrie, Shump and Love being healthy heading into the offseason and hopefully into training camp will be a huge plus for us. Losing Mozgov hurts, but Cavs were never going to resign him at what he got. If the TPEs have any value, which I doubt seeing these new contracts, Cavs are limited, but we still got a good part of the core locked up excluding JR, things can be worse.

Warriors are probably going to go with, who cares if we are weak inside, our perimeter game offensively will make up for it.

It's true that KD has earned to go where he wants but I would have loved him to go to ANY other team except GSW. I kinda lost respect for him a little bit because of his tweet a while ago.

I mean think about the pressure to win back to back championships now. And honestly I feel like he took the easy way out and is chasing rings now. It's pretty easy to go to a team that is a championship caliber team and doesn't actually need him.

I don't know. KD lost a few points for alot of people. Especially after reading this:

It just dawned on me that this scenario would've been the equivalent of the 2010 Celtics adding LeBron.

                              - Celtics have big three. Celtics beat LeBron in Playoffs. Celtics lose in NBA Finals. LeBron joins Celtics.
                              - Warriors have big three. Warriors beat Durant in Playoffs. Warriors lose in NBA Finals. Durant joins Warriors.

Is too late for derozan to back out of his deal and join the cavs?
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
                                Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
                                Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

                                Captain Tenneal: Get it on!
