re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
He is soft, IMO.......
And I love this dude because of where he comes from and how he came up. That doesn't mean he isn't soft as baby ****. He blew game six at home, choked away and 3-1 lead and ran to the same guys that embarrassed him.
He is worth more than $100 million dollars and is like going to make close to half a billion dollars after his career is over (endorsements and salary combined), so it ain't about "counting someone else's money." He can live whereever he wants, anyhwere in the world. Cost of living doesn't mean **** in his tax bracket. And just to prove that point, he's leaving a place with a low cost of living to an area with the highest cost of living in America.

How is this view any different than the view many have had about LBJ the last couple of years despite respecting his game?
Now it's a hot take for The Servant? Only thing that bothers be about the whole discussion....Comment

Give it a year and wait for this next cap increase. Somebody bout to do some **** and piss a bunch of people off next year. Probably gonna be Blake, think he's the next 'likable' star that can turn heel during FA on the docket.Comment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
I mean as far as their actions in the NBA. The move by KD is just a weak move. Lebron atleast went back to Cleveland and helped them win a ring. And when Lebron left, he didn't chase a team already on the cusp on winning a championship.
There's a huge difference there.
Lebron left his team twice to go to a team that he believed would give him the best chance at to win a championship, but has class.
You can't argue with that type of logic. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
My thing is this: Why is one acceptable but the other a sin?
Why is it OK for the best player in the game to be PLANNING TWO YEARS AHEAD of his free agency to go play with his boys on another team while still playing for his current team? He was basically saying "I don't care about ya'll because I'm gone in 2 years anyway to go play with my homies".
It was the worst thing in the world then but now that whole sequence is OK? That doesn't make sense...
Right now, KD going to GS is still fresh. Those events (and time) which changed people perception of Lebron's actions in 2010 haven't happened yet.
In my opinion, in 4-6 years people will soften up to Durants decision too. Who knows, maybe he'll go back to OKC one day too.Last edited by cavsfan2; 07-06-2016, 02:50 PM.Comment

Watch the video."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment
