re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
While 'soft' is harsh for my personal taste..
How is this view any different than the view many have had about LBJ the last couple of years despite respecting his game?
Now it's a hot take for The Servant? Only thing that bothers be about the whole discussion....
The kid is by all accounts a great person, the best player to ever come out of Prince George's County, an absolutely incredible athlete and unique talent but that doesn't make this move look any better. Wanting to win is one thing, trying to hit the "Easy" button is another. And to keep it 100% I thought LeBron was doing the same bull**** (which is their right) and was happy when Dallas (yuck, Mark Cuban and Dirk) humbled his ***.

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Why isn't it close to what Lebron did?
One player lost to a team that dropped a 3-1 lead and went to the team that beat him. The other left his home town team that had the best record in the league to team up with his buddies in South Beach. What makes one player jumping ship worse than the other?
Do this situations have to be exactly the same in order for one move to not be considered "weak sauce" and the other being smart/great or whatever title you guys want to give it?
Cavs in 09-10: 61-21
Cavs in 10-11- 19-63
Thunder in 15-16: 55-27
Thunder in 16-17: TBD but you can sure as hell bet they ain't gonna drop to the worst team in the league because one player left and only win around 20 games. They still have a ton of talent, unlike the aforementioned Cavs that LeBron left. He carried that franchise with mediocre talent for all 7 years. He never had even a top 30 player on his team let alone a top 5 player.Last edited by cima; 07-06-2016, 03:29 PM.Comment

And now it is done
Langston Galloway has agreed to terms with New Orleans. Contract details are still being worked on, per sources.Last edited by DieHardYankee26; 07-06-2016, 04:15 PM.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

I hope he gets paid, he worked his *** off for us.
It's a good summer to have come from the D-League huh?
He's also from Baton Rouge, so I can't fault him for wanting to win one for the Bayou.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
