You really think in 2016 that any of these Generation Y basketball players care about loyalty and pride? Comical.

The league has been ruined by TV contracts, shoe deals and guys caring about their 'legacy'. Winning rings is good for business. You don't get some sort of consolation prize because you 'stuck it out' with a team that could never get over the hump. Take it or leave it at this point.

Not a fan of the move because I grew up in an era where guys weren't buddies. Where guys didn't run with their tail between their legs to join your team because they couldn't beat you. Can you actually imagine Clyde on the Bulls, or MJ heading to Detroit? Just wouldn't have been right. But these aren't those days anymore and can understand why he did it from both a financial and a basketball perspective. Just disappointing to see a Top 3 player in the league concede inferiority but it is what it is. They still have to play the games.

The loyalty angle is funny to me, it always has been. Like these guys owe the owners anything extra after multiple years of busting their asses to be the best they can be. And the loyalty to fans of all things, like they are stabbing family in the back or something.. Ridiculous to me.

I just don't love the idea of him joining the team that just basically embarrassed him. When these high profile guys leave you hear all the "if you can't beat em join them" nonsense.. But in this particular case that's actually literally what happened.

As a fan I wanted the OKC/GS rematch, OKC should have gotten it done this year and I believe could have with the new pieces next year. KD tried for 9 years though, I guess he feels all he is missing is the rings.

          @WojVerticalNBA
Sources on @TheVertical: Nuggets officials meeting with Dwyane Wade on Wednesday, armed with two-year, $52M offer.

I don't even know what to think anymore. He trying really hard to get more $$ out of Riley. If he sticks it to Riley though, he sure as hell ain't signing with Denver.

That's KD leaving for Golden State, big difference in Dwyane pretending his *** is leaving Miami to go to ****ing Denver or Milwaukee or Chicago of all places.

It's cause Cleveland can't leverage more $$ over Riley's head.

In the end, Wade gonna sign with Cleveland for cheap and get a huge paying role in Space Jam 2.

One rumor mentioned that he was annoyed because Riley was willing to accommodate room for KD (i.e., sign Whiteside to a discount, trade McRoberts) but isn't budging for Wade.

I find it comical that even though Durant leaves, they're still blaming Westbrook.

Does Wade just blatantly not realize he's not a 25 year old healthy superstar athlete anymore?

I get the angle of him possibly feeling a slim amount of disrespect, but he's got to realize his value.

Wade is gonna sign with Denver, then on December 15, BAM!

The Nuggets agree to trade G Dwayne Wade to the Cleveland Cavaliers for F Kevin Love and a future 2nd round pick.

Who's more responsible for Miami's success, Wade or Riley?

                              Did Riley draft him?

Who made it possible for the Big 3 to team up in Miami? Riley's front office work or Wade's recruiting of Lebron and Bosh?

I saw the report that Atlanta was going to send Millsap to Denver for Kenneth Faried if Horford would've signed to stay.

That's interesting, but not sure how they would've worked that out.
