They had the pieces to win. They had some bad breaks 13-15 and they just flat out choked this year.

IDK if Durant has the Alpha Dog badge in 2k16 but time to change that **** to Beta Dog in 2K17, lol.

It takes a smart person to know when to say when

Glenn Rivers is a perfect example of someone who doesnt.

KG found out before it was too late

    LeBron listened to KGs advice

OKC stole a team now it's gonna bite them when RWB bounces... they'll never reach that point again.

Why you twisting words? I never said he couldn't be in the HOF but two years ago dudes were trying to say when he won MVP that he was the best player in the world. Sorry but that ship has sailed now. Which is fine, he can still be a HOFer and be more on the Pippen-level but he's out of the conversation of the very best IMO.

"Should" be favorites? Huh? Vegas has the odds so much in their favor that you lose money if you bet on them to win it all this coming year.

I don't understand why are people trying to downplay GSW now? Is it to avoid being called the ultimate choke team of the century if they lose this year? Cause that's what every "non-northern californian" media outlet will call them if they do choke.

Just saying, heavily favored is an understatement.

LOLWUT? Did his talent wane? If someone with the talent to be the best player in the world joins a good team he can't be that anymore?

We could say something about that statement right now, but it's probably best to just keep the topic moving lol

I think this is a very unique situation with unseen and probably never replicated again circumstances.

He didn't just join a "good team" he joined a team that quite frankly, SHOULD be back-to-back champions coming off a 73 win season. It's harder for me to judge this situation like everything else before it because this has never happened before.

I'm with the old dogs that say this cheapens his legacy. Some agree with that, others don't. But that's my stance.

Or if Isaiah Thomas would have lost to the Boston Celtics and he joined that team. Or Magic or Larry would have lost to the Lakers or Celtics and the next year they joined that team. They were up 3-1 against the Golden State Warriors. They beat the 67 win San Antonio Spurs. I know these decisions are bigger than what happens actually on the basketball court, but as the superstar, as the leader, you’re rallying 14 other players. And as a team and as management we are building a roster around your strengths and your weaknesses. And Russell Westbrook has nurtured to be one of the top 5 players in the entire game. For him to leave that team, after he had just lost to the team in the playoffs, it just felt dirty to me."

Hey, I'll give him this- at least he's consistent....

                    That's cool.

Let's go ask Scottie if he gives two ****s about not being in Tier 1 even though he's still in the HOF. Matter of fact, let's ask him what the difference is and he'll probably ask us if we're smoking that stuff, lol.

And who cares if people say he's the best in the world. Who else you want them to say?(Rhetorical question because I already know the answer)Lol

if the money like it is now was back then it's easy to see many of the back in the day stars doing this... Like it's not hard to see that at all.

We all know that to KD, probably only his opinion matters in the end. And hopefully he's satisfied with the decision he made in the end. He probably will be.

That doesn't change how he's going to be viewed by the majority of fans, especially the older fans. It was disappointing for me to see this because I was a big KD fan before all of this went down. No matter how you want to justify it, in the spirit of competitiveness, it was a ****ing weak move and there's no denying that.

Him being the best player in the world isn't legacy, it's not looking back and you can't take that away. Him being on the team has nothing to do with his talent as a player. If you want to say it hurts in the long run and where he ranks in the Pantheon of players that's one thing, but to say basically he doesn't have the talent he has because he plays for a certain team is bizarre. It doesn't make sense.

Also, be very careful throwing around terms like "beta" lol, remember what you're known here for. Your boy dipped out of Cleveland to play with his best friends and then froze in the Finals If KD comes home to the Wizards after 2 failed titles and 2 successful ones to win one for the District, do we forgive him?

You getting mad at Durant for front running is like me being mad at the Dodgers for spending too much money.

Who is blocking shots? 6'5 Draymond?

How is Curry gonna defend any legit guard? Kyrie cooked him. Also exposed him once his shot wasn't falling.

                            Where's the depth?

Don't get me wrong...they'll run through the regular season and they should be favorites. But they do have holes.
Lebron's Miami teams consistently got outrebounded it worked out okay for them. Also KD as a rim protector worked out pretty well for OKC in the playoffs.

Curry was a bad defender for like 1 series, I'll take the bigger sample.

Yeah they'll have holes but if their weakness is depth that should tell you they will be okay.
