I can't remember being this down on the Bulls since our big free agent signings were Brent Barry and Hersey Hawkins. At least that team still had Toni Kukoc. Some other names on the '98-'99 Bulls: Corey Benjamin, Kornel David, Rusty LaRue, and who can forget Dickey Simpkins? That team was the worst team I've ever seen (Sixers included), but they were at least likable.
At least the Baby Bulls (Hinrich, Gordon, Deng) were entertaining and played for each other even though never a serious threat.
This team....I just can't. From a personalities/locker room standpoint, from a basketball standpoint, from a we traded our 1-1 overall pick Rose who is finally healthy (drafted by the same regime btw) for this? standpoint....none of it makes any sense to me. Even Chicago newspaperman-turned-website-mailbag-guy Sam Smith has been oddly quiet in defending the team's executives, which he normally does against the hordes of disgruntled Bulls fans.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Can't combine a player with a trade exception so it'd have to cover the whole salary. Jose Calderon should fit nicely in there.
