Rockets are gonna be fun to watch this year. Maybe not so much for rockets fans, but from a distance they should be fun to watch. I'am also happy that D'antoni is a headcoach in the NBA again.

Wasn't he already? I mean he's listed as a SG sure but he's usually the one bringing the ball up right? At least half their trips up.

Re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
The end of an era
Miami Heat President Pat Riley said Monday that the team views Chris Bosh's career with the team as over, that the team no longer is working toward his return.
"We are not," Riley said in his office at AmericanAirlines Arena. "I think Chris is still open-minded. But we are not working toward his return.
"We feel that, based on the last exam, that his Heat career is probably over."
Asked if he felt Bosh's NBA career was over, as well, Riley said, "that's up to him."Comment

Pat Riley is a cold dude.
Type of guy if his car breaks down asks you to go outside and give the car a push then takes off when the car is running throwing the peace sign yelling "Tough Break Bitch!" while leaving you on the road stranded.Comment

Re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Riley is definitely cold but I think I get it.
He's trying to run a team and get more rings. This Bosh situation from a franchise success perspective is keeping the team out of options to improve. That's a lot of money to commit to a guy who isn't playing.
However, with the way he peaced Wade, I'm not surprised. The you're one of us speeches wouldn't resonate with me if I were a free agent. I'd be like Whiteside and tell Riley to give me money or shut up."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Yeah, this is one thing I can't criticize Riley for doing.
I do think he is genuinely concerned about Bosh and is trying to look out for him. I mean this is now twice that Bosh has had these issues...is it really worth chancing it for a 3rd time?
Idk it's hard for me to point the blame at either side but if I were Bosh, I'd call it a career.#RespectTheCultureComment
