    Re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread

Nobody is coming at the media for reporting this or trying to create something out of nothing and then idiots like us eating it up, which is what we're doing now.

We're making something out of nothing because he's around some "selfless" individuals according to him and yet we think he's slighting his old team? Westbrook says the word "cute" and all of a sudden, we're acting like Nas just dropped Ether on Hov all over again.

Ya'll are smarter and better than this, lol

Theyve been trying to bait westbrook since he signed his extension.

Then he says something simple and they try making it explode like a volcano.

"I'm glad to be here, glad I'm staying"

Media: OMG he said he's staying, that's a major shot at Kevin Durant

These vultures already starting the click bait madness.

Like it's no way in the world he was glad to stay and get that money. They staged it all so he could take a shot at durant on camera.

      Outta here with that

        Re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread

        Forget the 'cute' thing...

Westbrook, after being read Durant's answer verbatim at shootaround on Thursday, was asked whether he felt like it was a shot at him or the Thunder organization.

"But my job is to worry about what's going on here," Westbrook said. "We're going to worry about all the selfish guys we have over here apparently. So we're going to figure that out."
I mean, I'm not sure a 'spin' is even necessary here, lol...of course thats going to be reported on...not like they doctored those comments up.

I personally cant wait to see OKC/GSW play.

Nobody is arguing what should/shouldn't be reported on though.

I'm talking about the manufacturing of this fake drama/beef that's being created and has been going on all offseason. Everytime one of them gets asked a question about anything, we either assume or we go looking for any subliminals being thrown from either of them.

Hell, I'm surprised a fuss hasn't gotten made about Lillard and his "I ain't joining no Superteam" comments yet. We know how much drama gets created any time an athlete says that. It wasn't that long ago when Durant got ****ted on for his comments about that back in 2010, lol.

Damn KD and Russ, those dudes really laying into each other. This hits about as hard as Pippen calling Chuck "fat butt".. It's getting real over here.

KD was talking about Flash Mamba and Reggie anyway. Russ isn't selfish, he'd die on the court for those guys misguided as his attempts may be.

                      Bigger than the KD signing.

Bron was like "If you keep shorting my mans on the bread, me and you gonna have problems, Dan" and Dan was like "Hey JR, how much did you say you wanted again?"

                                Uhh what the hell?

The Chicago Bulls are cornering the market on guards with iffy jumpshots.Chicago is in deep talks with the Milwaukee Bucks on a trade that would send swingman Tony Snell to Milwaukee in exchange for point guard Michael Carter-Williams, reports Zach Lowe and Marc Stein of ESPN.Carter-Williams, the 2013 Rookie of the Year winner, struggled in two seasons with the Bucks after starting out with the Philadelphia 76ers. He averaged 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.7 steals in 79 games in Milwaukee, but his lack of range sunk the Bucks' offense. After Giannis Antetokounmpo assumed the role of point forward midway through last season, Carter-Williams was relegated to the bench. Since then, Carter-Williams' name has since been bandied about in trade rumors (despite the empty protestations of head coach Jason Kidd.)Problems may arise with Carter-Williams joining a backcourt rotation severely short on shooting, but at the very least he's a versatile defender, and a definite upgrade over Isaiah Canaan as the primary backup to Rajon Rondo.Snell, on the other hand, has stagnated in his development in three seasons with the Bulls. The 6-foot-7 small forward has shown very little utility aside from outside shooting (35.1 percent from deep) as he holds measly career averages of 5.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 18.5 minutes in Chicago. However, Milwaukee has been desperately scouring the trade market for potential 3-and-D wings after losing Khris Middleton to a season-ending injury. Snell isn't perfect, and he's a long way from replacing Middleton, but he at least fits the bill of what Milwaukee lacks.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls are in deep talks on a trade involving Bulls swingman Tony Snell and Bucks point guard Michael Carter-Williams, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.
                                Update:

According to local guy KC Johnson, this is a done deal that will be finalized on Monday. What are the Bucks thinking here? I know MCW hasn't been all that good since leaving Philly, but if all they're getting for the guy is Snell, that's a steal for the Bulls.
