Meh, trash for trash. Nothing to see here.

MCW has been more than just 'not all that good'. He was terrible.

Man Milwaukee is really committed to having the first 7 foot point guard ever I see.

I still suspect that Delly will be starting at the point, with Giannis running the offense essentially. Just don't know who is gonna be the backup. Tyler Ennis? Ew.

MCW was bad for the team.. They were better off with Knight.

But wtf were the Bulls thinking... even if Snell wasn't a great asset for them at the time.. MCW with Rondo/Wade/Butler ? Whatever combo of the 4 you use that's pretty ugly.. Fred will have no floor spacing.. Even less without being able to roll Snell out from time to time..

Did the Bulls just let Dunleavy go or trade him away?

Not that he's a knockdown shooter but wasn't he one of their main 3-point shooters?

The new perimeter players they brought in appears to be worse shooters from distance.

Mike is a Cav now. But I think he wouldn't be very productive no matter where he was.. He is going on 36 and couldn't play D to save his life.. But yeah he isn't on the Bulls this season.

Seems like their main 3pt shooter is going to be Dougie McBuckets..
Denzel Valentine could turn into that guy for them as well.. but you can't really bank on a rookie being a great/smart shooter for you..

The Chicago Bulls are cornering the market on guards with iffy jumpshots.Chicago is in deep talks with the Milwaukee Bucks on a trade that would send swingman Tony Snell to Milwaukee in exchange for point guard Michael Carter-Williams, reports Zach Lowe and Marc Stein of ESPN.Carter-Williams, the 2013 Rookie of the Year winner, struggled in two seasons with the Bucks after starting out with the Philadelphia 76ers. He averaged 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.7 steals in 79 games in Milwaukee, but his lack of range sunk the Bucks' offense. After Giannis Antetokounmpo assumed the role of point forward midway through last season, Carter-Williams was relegated to the bench. Since then, Carter-Williams' name has since been bandied about in trade rumors (despite the empty protestations of head coach Jason Kidd.)Problems may arise with Carter-Williams joining a backcourt rotation severely short on shooting, but at the very least he's a versatile defender, and a definite upgrade over Isaiah Canaan as the primary backup to Rajon Rondo.Snell, on the other hand, has stagnated in his development in three seasons with the Bulls. The 6-foot-7 small forward has shown very little utility aside from outside shooting (35.1 percent from deep) as he holds measly career averages of 5.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 18.5 minutes in Chicago. However, Milwaukee has been desperately scouring the trade market for potential 3-and-D wings after losing Khris Middleton to a season-ending injury. Snell isn't perfect, and he's a long way from replacing Middleton, but he at least fits the bill of what Milwaukee lacks.

                      Update:

According to local guy KC Johnson, this is a done deal that will be finalized on Monday. What are the Bucks thinking here? I know MCW hasn't been all that good since leaving Philly, but if all they're getting for the guy is Snell, that's a steal for the Bulls.
I'll miss MCW as a Cuse alum (easily my favorite Syracuse player from my time there), but the thinking is pretty simple. MCW was going to be the backup PG. Snell will be the starting SG, and he immediately becomes our 2nd best shooter in the starting 5. There's been no inklings of this happening, but I'm still hoping for a draft pick to be coming the Bucks way in this since it hasn't been finalized yet.

Ennis is gone; that's who was dealt for Michael Beasley. It's all Delly all the time now. If Milwaukee doesn't sign/acquire someone else, I would guess Brogdon will be the backup PG, or they'll try to trot out Jason Terry as an off-ball PG. Honestly have no idea.

But Snell will be the starting SG for sure.

This is all because Middleton went down.

I wonder how true the rumors are. Just the other day Kidd was taking good stuff about MCW, but we all know how this business works.

Brogdon playing point sounds like a bad idea. Maybe Kidd is just setting the stage for his comeback.
