re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Of course it is because what's the other option for THEM? Don't say let him walk we all know they're not going to be able to replace his production that easy(unless you have faith in Ernie to do that)and considering the fact they have no draft pick this year, it really doesn't help them.
And with the cap going up each year, it's not going to have them cap strapped like they were during the Arenas/Butler/Jamison days.
And if he were to hit the open market, he'd get a max from someone. What they need to do is dump Nene but good luck finding a team that WANTS to take that contract on.
Now if you're saying that you don't think he's worth the max, that's one thing and then just disregard what I said.#RespectTheCultureComment

It's just crazy now how many dudes are getting Max offers.
Dude has never even had a healthy season. Averages below 20 ppg every year. FG% in the low 40s every year.
But he's getting LeBron money?Comment

He's not getting LeBron money though. All max contracts aren't created equally my man.

Yea. Y'all know I'm not good about contracts and such.
But seeing that a max offer would give Beal 22 million next season would have to put him up there with LeBron no?Comment
