Re: Phil Jackson on Kobe
bUILD THEM UP TO TEAR THEM DOWN! These high profile NBA players are pampered all of their lives, they all make mistakes and all are pampered, HOWEVER some respect others much more and compromise for their teams.
Jordan aint near perfect but he wasnt the highest paid player until the last few years after his first retirement! TALK about sacrifice! However Jordan didnt have to deal with a teamate with the EGO of SHAQ and KOBE! Rodman is insane not egotistical.Comment

Re: Phil Jackson on Kobe
This book sounds like it may be interesting to read, but I never really go for tell all stories. It really sounds like Phil is blaming Kobe for his not being with the Lakers. Shaq is doing the same.
Now how dumb do I have to be to believe that a skinny kid from Philly can come RIGHT out of HS to the NBA, play for one of the greatest coaches in history, and play with one of the greatest centers in history, yet... this kid can manipulate a scenario where he can get his coach fired, and his center traded so that HE can rule the world.... I mean Lakers?!
First he gets his coach fired by being the most uncoachable player since Rodman, knowing full well that when Shaq hears of his coaches firing, he will demand a trade. Then... he has to figure out a way to get the DA and his accuser to drop rape charges that could put him behind bars for years. He has to also make sure that he has an owner that is not smart enough to see into his treachery, and give him the "key" to Staples Center............
WOW! Kobe surely is the most powerful man in America.
How dumb do I have to be to believe all that?
Probably as dumb as Stephen A Smith and Charles Barkley.
Now THAT'S dumb!!

You believed everything he said? You believed the lies he told to the fans of Los Angeles? Especially when Phil comes out and directly contradicts him, as if we didnt know. Check D4K's sig... Speaks volumes about the respect LA fans have for him.Comment
