They just needed a mop up guy. They had one. His name was Kobe Bryant. I can easily think of a dozen players that would have fit that mold perfectly, including one traded away from the team (Eddie Jones).
That is just so wrong. There is no other way to say it. You are wrong. And it's not even a subjective thing. What you said is objectively wrong. If you truly believe it then you don't know much about basketball, end of story.

Saying that the Lakers would have 3-peated with Eddie Jones in place of Kobe just might be one of the stupidest things I have ever heard.

Go back and look at that Spurs series a few years back when Shaq was getting outplayed by Duncan and Kobe saved the day time after time, even causing Shaq to proclaim him as the best player in the NBA and his "idol".

Man, it is just awful to see people so blinded by hate for someone they don't even know that they can't even acknowledge that man's accomplishments. Just terrible.....

The fact is that while they are all at fault, Kobe is a moron. He's the central focal point for the poor attitude of the team. Could Jackson have done more to make him happier? Maybe. Then again, maybe if the kid had just shut up and played the games the Lakers would be talking six-peat right now.
which article are you talking about, because you better not be talking about mine or the person who posted right after me. No where did they mention anything about championships.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.
