Won't even bother giving a prediction for game 6. I can see the game going in a number of directions for a variety of reasons, and none of them would surprise me at all.

Just give us a prediction so we can quote you later when you are wrong and you can tell us to get a life. I mean see all the interactivity we're missing out on here just because of logic.

Out of curiosity, do you have a link or exact quote? Curious to hear him expand on this notion.

I can understand two days of rest between travel days. But if you're going to insist upon plugging in those two-day breaks for every travel day, then in my opinion you absolutely should be taking advantage of going with just one day of rest while teams are in the same city.

Instead, we got two days of rest between games 1 and 2 in Oakland, then two days for the trip to Cleveland, then one day, and then two days ever since. Really zaps momentum.

          It's in french :

Non, non. Je pense qu’un jour sur deux c’est idéal pour les joueurs. Vous avez un jour de repos et ensuite ces gars sont des athlètes incroyables. 48h entre les matchs, c’est un peu ce à quoi ils sont habitués en saison régulière, et ça donne l’impression que ça dure une éternité.
          Steve Kerr

Translation : I think that playing every other day is ideal for the players. You have one day of rest, theses guys are amazing athletes. 48hours between games it's kind of like what they are used to in the regular season, that seems like an eternty.

Although It's a translation of a translation, so take it with a grain of salt but he's saying 48hours is too much time between games basically. It's not a very insightful article besides that.

And in the same article you have Jefferson saying thanks god for two days rest. Basically.

They were just complaining last year that they weren't getting enough rest in the Finals and now they're getting too much?

As I've learned from running adult sports leagues; someone will always be unhappy so just do what you think is in the best interest and move on.

I got Cavs sending this back to Oracle. LeBron and Irving will score in the 20s, Love or JR will join them. For GS, Curry gonna go off but I think Klay will have an off game. He looked really tired during the second half of last game. Draymond gonna be too emotional and try too much, will end up negatively impacting them.

And the advanced ORTG and DRTG numbers still support Jefferson with the starters. This series they have 39 minutes together and a net 18.2 rating versus the Love lineup has 59 minutes and only a net 0.3 rating. One of the keys is they've been a better rebounding team with LeBron at the 4. Another key has been T Thompson's PnR defense on Curry has been excellent and Curry hasn't been able to get by him. If you ran LeBron at the 4 with Love at the 5, that'd spell disaster.

The flow of the game will determine how much Love plays, but my prediction is GS going death lineup early and depending how that goes with Love in there, I expect Jefferson to play more minutes than he did last game. After all, he is older and they probably wanted to limit his minutes so he wouldn't be worn out for Games 6 and 7.
I think this is part of the disconnect we were having before. All of these stats are looking back on what happened, but that also includes throwing the playbook out of the window with LBJ and Kyrie going iso, and Lue not doing much coaching.

Jefferson is the better option in that situation, and I agree that's likely the situation we will see again. But I still believe a healthy (still questionable) Love with an offense that moves the ball in general, and through him at times in the post, would be their best bet.

I also mentioned this isn't a video game before because so much focus was placed on the starting lineup... similarly a lot of focus is being placed on one line up when they need to be playing at least 8 guys, maybe 9. They CAN create situations that make sense for Love to play more than Jefferson but they just haven't and probably won't.

So if we're going to assume that Lue, James and Kyrie aren't going to change, Jefferson probably should get more run. But I just think that's more dangerous and they'd have a better shot if they actually played like a team.

Cavs have a chance to ruin some more Warriors juju after stopping Steve Kerr from winning a championship on the anniversary of another championship he won on Monday. On this day one year ago, the Warriors knocked off the Cavs in Cleveland in game 6 to become NBA champions. Different outcome tonight or will history repeat itself?

Different outcome. Cavs may very well lose Game 7 but they aren't going down tonight, not 2 years in a row on their home floor.

Well really they don't have much choice if GS has everything clicking.

I'm not taking this chance for granted. This has been one hell of a ride. Let’s keep it going.

Damn that was a good read. RJ has been great for team chemistry, hopefully he can stay with them next year.

I hope lebron James is hitting jumpers tonight because when his shot is on he's a significantly better offensive player
