Id at least try Speights out if I were them. He isnt the defender or passer that Bogut is, but he can be a floor spacer for them offensively. When Andy and Ezeli played, made it easier to trap Curry or Thompson.

Speights is due to have an on game so I won't be surprised at all to see him get some minutes in Game 7. But he's just really bad defensively and not a great rebounder

I'm saying to start the game. Cleveland has jumped on Golden State early the past two games. The small lineup isn't working off the tip.

This is the first time a best-of-seven series in the NBA has gone into Game 7 with both teams having scored the same amount of points. Both Cleveland and Golden State have scored exactly 610 points in the first 6 games.

Saw someone on twitter repost a tweet Kerr tweeted a few yrs ago about how if he could choose anyone to have on his team in a game 7 on the road LBJ would be first, KD 2nd, and Noah 3rd. How awkward the first 2 guys he listed he is going to have coached against them lol. Then I thought Noah was a shocker pick, even when this was when Noah was healthy.

I predict Cavs to win it in a close one.

I have not seen this LeBron since 2013.

Some people saying LBJ should be finals MVP. I think he had a bigger case for it last year. This year he didn't have a very good Games 1, 2, and 4.

I would give it to Green or Steph.

If anyone in the modern era was going to win the Finals MVP in a losing cause, I figured it'd have been LeBron James last season. I still feel a little funny about Andre Iguodala winning it. I guess it makes sense—Iguodala played pretty efficient basketball and true, without him, maybe LeBron James shoots closer to 45 or 50 percent from the field instead of 40.

But still... James averaged 36, 13, and 9 during the finals last year, all while having virtually no deep ball at his disposal (31 percent, many of them open looks if I recall). I don't think I've ever seen someone take on so much of his team's burden and produce the way he did.

This year... it'll be a little easier to select depending upon the winner. For reference, James is currently averaging 30, 11 and 8.5 in the series (51 percent shooting, 40 percent from the arc).

Sensible but moderately interesting fact: James averaged 19 shots a night in heavy handed losses in Games 1 and 2. He's averaged 26 shots a night over his last four, averaging 34.8 points while going 3-1. The Cavs are perfect this series any time he takes more than 21 shots.

And those are my ESPN-ish slanted stats of the day.

I'd say Barnes' Casper impression has a lot to do with that. They're leaving him wide open right now. Not even even trying to hide the lack of respect.

What a conundrum for the Warriors coaching staff, trying to decide whether to roll the dice and hope Harrison Barnes snaps out of his dilapidated mental state or move on to the next one. And if Andre Iguodala's not healthy... yeesh.

You gotta keep on getting him those looks. He was making those just a couple of games ago. Just a rough stretch for him.

If Iggy threw out his back or something wouldn't GSW have to list something like that?

I dont know how injuries in the NBA are required to be dealt with as opposed to the NFL.

I'm assuming if we aren't hearing anything new about him then he's fine.

I'm thinking aloud because I honestly don't know.

These past two games were arguably better than any two from last year. And he's yet again leading both teams in points, rebounds, assist, this year adding steals and blocks for good measure too. I think unless someone has a monster game 7 he would deserve it despite a loss.
