Dude had Barbosa in the 1st getting buckets and he never brought him back in again

Then we see Brick Barnes most of the game doing just that... shooting tons of Bricks and then messing up on the defensive end.

and Varejao whom for some reason they kept trying to pass to and was a turnover every time... has no offense whatsoever.

No Speights either who could've at least scored when you had terrible lineups who look clueless because you don't have a gameplay if the 25 foot screen and 3 fails... It was masterfully Scott Brooks like.

Definitely. Kerr definitely takes a lot of the blame as well, no doubt.

Steph didn't have a great game, and yeah him hunting for a 3 against Love will probably haunt him. However that's a shot he usually drills and if he hit it we'd be singing a different tune. But the turnovers he had this game were a killer.

The season he had was unbelievable though. Absolute assassin all season. He'll be back even better next year.

Some dude on here said throughout the regular season that this excessive 3 point chunking when they didn't need them could eventually catch up to them and hurt more than help.

It didn't, until the end when it kinda did.

In a way, I kind of feel bad for Steph.

He's going to cop a whole heap of flack similarly to when LeBron lost to the Mavs.

Kind of similar numbers too.

LeBron 2011 Finals averaged 17.8 PPG (-8.9 PTS from his season average)

Steph 2016 Finals averaged 22.6 PPG (-7.5 PTS from his season average)

That was going to be the biggest bummer for me regardless of outcome. One way or another, a tremendous basketball player and a great basketball team was bound to catch flak that is certain to outweigh their actual transgressions.

This Warriors team brought such joy to me this season as a basketball fan. So often, they did things I've never seen done before, taking the game to places I'd never really imagined possible. I probably watched this team more than any other non-Pistons team in my life; subsequently, it was a lot of late nights, but worth it.

I'm a little bummed to not see them finish it off. But I won't be forgetting this squad for a while. And I mean, I guess at least they got one last year. Heck of a couple years.
