Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Thats what makes these debates fun though, the Green suspension was self inflicted, but what happens if he was suspended vs OKC? Do the Thunder go to the finals? Does Durant leave if they beat GSW? Its the same with the Cavs when they lost Love and then Kyrie, what ifs were brought up. Or when Ray Allen hit that 3 to push the series to 7. These types of arguments will always be here.
All that said, this Cavs team will always be remembered as the 1st team to win a title after being down 3-1, and it happened against a 73 win team, no one will care who got suspended or hurt.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
It's pointless to even look at that angle, I said that last year as someone who would have rather saw the Cavs win..
But Kyrie, Love missing basically the entire series is still a little different than Dray missing a game, and Bogut missing 2 games (I think) especially when he was only playing a quarters worth of minutes. Even more so when you consider the guys 4-12 on each roster.
But at the end of the day trying to word it to make either victory less meaningful is silly.. Just like the whole "asterisk" thing last season.

Got no idea why any of that other crap needs to be brought up, especially by fans of the team that won.Comment

Don't really get why he'd refuse the ring, I understand the team situation but whatever I guess. Guess he's confident the Warriors pull it off this year. Now I have a reason to hope they dont.
Let's keep Varejao ringless (also RoLo is Sideshow Bob, Varejao doesn't play enough games to get a nickname)Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

The Andy situation is pretty funny. There's the group of Cavs fans that want to reward him because he stayed loyal to the franchise. Then there's the group of Cavs fans that say **** him for not only signing with the Warriors but this dude's salary has amassed $72 million over his career and missed over 300 career games which is basically 3.5 seasons.
I see it from both sides. I personally side with the don't give him a ring group.Comment

Are we still waiting to hear what kind of surgery Curry needs this offseason, or how severe that injury was compared to what they were just letting on?

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
hahaha I agree with you. Anyone would of taken that ring. He should of done something classic like give his ring to Cleveland. Because he technical earned.
He's just one of those players you love him on your team but hate him when he is the opponent. It's funny in game 7. refs were not falling for his stuff. They really "let them play".Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Dont blame him for not wanting to take the ring, especially when he was on the other team that lost. Doesn't diminish what he has done as a Cav, and most people here still love him.Comment
