Was watching the game again with some friends, and after the Kyrie GW shot, we talked about where it ranked, almost everyone had Kyries shot #1, except one has Jordan's shot vs the Jazz, and another had Ray Allen's shot in game 6. Wanted to see what OS thought.

It's in the top 10 biggest shots in Finals history (at least from the Finals I can remember) but the other two you mentioned are bigger shots. Kyrie's shot was big but it was hit with 58 seconds left and it still left room for Golden State to come back. It was a momentum changing shot though for sure.

Good question man...as far as weight/situation its hard to think of a lot of shots that would rank higher...off the top of my head I would say...in no particular order

Robert Horrys Game 5 three vs. Detroit
Ray Allens Game 6 three vs, SA (smdh)
          MJ's walk off vs. Utah
          Kyries three vs. Golden State
          Magic Johnsons baby hook

Im sure I am missing some but yeah id rank Irvings up there...

Completely forgot the Horry shot, that was a great series. Its finally good for Cleveland to have their own "Shot" instead of always seeing MJ hit over Ehlo lol.

Glad you thought so, it was the lowest rated finals ever and singlehandedly brought about rule changes, lol

              Shot was huge though

I think ray had the goat shot but I'm biased on that shot

I always liked the Paxson shot. Mostly because the Suns still had a chance after the shot. What a tense final seconds.

Suns up two. Bulls run a play out of the backcourt with 14 seconds on the clock. Everyone touches the ball. Paxson open for the three as B.J. Armstrong dives to the floor in celebration.

Just listened to that play again and that three was the 10th for the Bulls in the game. A then Finals record. How times have changed.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

So that probably means 07 Spurs v Cavs was the 2nd lowest rated lol, despite Parker having his coming out party and it being LBJs 1st finals appearance.

That LeBron block > the Kyrie shot. And Love's "last stand" on D over them both lol. Dude channeled that inner Joe Dumars.

Love didn't channel anything, he was guarding a guy with a sprained ankle and jacked up knee that was a shell of himself. That's all the proof anyone should need to know that Steph was playing at much less than 100% in the playoffs.
