It's not like it's ignoring that he's played more years just because years listed isn't on the graphic.. Years listed isn't an award like MVP or ring, so why would it be?

I literally can't understand why this bothers people. I know everyone just thinks I'm just a LeBron homer, and there isn't a way to convince you otherwise. But I was an even bigger fan of Jordan than he. My phone lock-screen is to this day MJ, my work computer desktop is MJ, I don't even wear jerseys never have and I own a Laney, UNC, rookie script, and Wizards Jordan jersey. The only other player I even have a jersey of is a Vince Carter Sounds jersey because I snatched it at a game this year. I've never had another players poster, plaque, whatever hanging on my wall. My office at my house has an autographed MJ jersey, tegata hand print, the long "wings" framed poster.

I'm as big of an MJ as any of you, maybe not literally as much as a Bulls only fan, but anyone else.. And this doesn't bother me in the least. Why does it bother you or anyone else? It's pretty self explanatory to understand why it shows age 31 unless you're deliberately trying to find a way to make it an insult.

It doesn't bother you for the same reasons it doesn't bother me; our fandom is the same and it's far different from the rest of OS. Pretty sure we are the only MJ/LeBron fans on here. I'm sure you don't like being grouped with me because I've been hypocritical and hyperbolic at times, and I'm not saying you have been, but clearly you and I are the biggest LeBron fans on here and apparently we also share the MJ admiration as well. I love comparing the two because they are my two faves and they're both dominant in different ways. You can throw these things out there about both guys and I'm not gonna get offended or upset about it because I like em both.

The graphic's intent is up for interpretation...for us, it's just a side-by-side comparison of our favorite players of what they accomplished by age 31. For Bulls' fans and such, they could see it at yet again someone trying to compare their GOAT to someone who (and they don't want to admit this) could surpass MJ as the GOAT when he retires. It's like when we got media/dudes that were trying to tell us that Steph Curry, not LeBron James, is the best player in the world; we ain't having none of that **** cause that's our guy.

Like Pack said, we can manipulate **** pretty much how we want to fit our narrative. Was it MY intent by posting to spark debate? Absolutely not, but some took it that way and I can see why they would. Was it the graphic designer's intent? Possibly, but their intent is irrelevant to me because that was not MY intent.

That graphic was put together with the sole intent of starting some ****. It's taking away from both guys because we gotta have these ridiculous conversations instead of just being impressed by what LeBron has accomplished thus far in his career.
Age is an extremely common measuring stick in life when you compare yourself to your peers, especially in the work place (and the NBA is their work place).

And if Iggy makes that layup and Kyrie misses that three ball and the Warriors win back to back titles and let's just say myself or 23 post a side by side graphic of LeBron at 31 with his two titles in 13 seasons next to Michael's stats at 31, you wouldn't be in here calling people out for hating on LeBron or being unfair to him for criticizing him for team accomplishments that aren't his fault? Would this dumb *** graphic even exist had they lost? I already know the answer to this, but figured I'd put the question out there anyway.
No reason to really get into the "what-if" game man, cause if you use that as the basis of your argument, you open the door for the other person to start doing the same. If you're gonna say what if Iggy makes the layup and Kyrie misses, then it's fair for me to say what if Kyrie/Love never got hurt in 2015 and they won last year too and now he had 4 rings at age 31? Only thing that matters in the end is what actually happened.

Exactly how I see it. I guess it's just hard to understand the other view point when I personally feel that I'm doing my best to remove any biased factor.

Yeah I feel the same; I don't feel like I'm being biased because I have equal admiration for both and I'll straight up say yes MJ is the GOAT. I'm also not blind in the sense that I understand, though the odds aren't in his favor, LeBron still has enough time left to end his career in that conversation as 1A or 1B. And since they're my two faves, it's a win/win scenario for me.

Probably the same reason I hated Kobe from grade school until I was 19; but then he dropped 81 and I was like mannnnn I can't hate that, only appreciate. But he was a threat to my man MJ's greatness. I outgrew that and was able to appreciate Kobe as a fan and it was great, which is why I can confidently say now that he's retired, he is the 2nd greatest SG of all-time and the only thing he was better at than MJ is 3 point shooting.

VERY long story short, you're better off not posting any side by side graphics containing Jordan regardless of intention....we've been through this about 100 times now.....always ends the same...that's not even meant as a backhanded comment toward either side...I'm just saying...

Yeah, enough with the Lebron/MJ comparisons.

Now, if y'all wanna talk Lebron/Kobe comparisons...I don't think that's ever been done before

Hmmm interesting cause Kobe did win his 5th (and final) ring at age 31.

Tried to tell him Two four but he called me a Jordan only fan in response ROFL

What I don't get though is just how this generation can't enjoy it for what it is without going into things that matters none.

It must be miserable to have to keep trying to prove something yet never get there.

Tired of this dude dominating the east. Bulls should put together a new big three. Mario Chalmers, Birdman and Joel Anthony and take back the eastern conference from this chump.
