I disagree, I believe it's a product of the moment since LeBron just won his 3rd title and that he is 31 years old right now. You can find lots of different narratives, but we all know how many people value titles more than anything so I think that's where it started for this particular graphic.

It will inevitably never stop because there will always be another stat a month from now, and another, and another.. Without them playing each other it's all anyone has to look at.

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Age isn't relevant is the point. They could've just put the graphic up as is and said "LeBron and Jordan acolades at time of 3rd championship" and it would've been fine, it even already has seasons played. Their age really doesn't matter in the first place, and creates an issue where there doesn't need to be one as you see lol.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

That looks like something A-Rod would have commissioned and hung in his house of himself.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

I'd rather see Tim come back and win another one before he leaves without talking to reporters and retire through a summer grapevine rumorComment

All I know is that when I see it by age I realize that LeBron could have more left than I realized. I'd be happy with 5 more seasons, two of which he makes the finals. Those sneak side narratives I don't even try to bother with the headache.
Then he would have spent half of his career in the finals.

Or he could not have more left than you realized because he's been playing more ball than so many more guys ever have.
