Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
What's nonsense is how defensive the MJ-only crowd is over the comparisons.
Ain't comparing their whole careers, just through age 31 and as the graphic shows, they're about equal in terms of what they've accomplished to that point. There's no hidden meanings, and no one is saying LeBron > MJ, so put your guard down.Comment

and there is no MJ only crowd, this is a unanimous thing here for a very good reason, trust me.
Besides, We don't really care what happened at age 31...
24th's post below yours tells you all you need to know about that nonsense.Comment

And yes there is, you are part of the MJ-only crowd. Your username is 23 for goodness sake. You don't speak for everyone when you say "we don't really care"...YOU don't care. Doesn't mean others don't.Comment

Draymond Green has become my favorite Warrior. If that isn't proof that winning cures all, I don't know what is. https://theundefeated.com/features/d...diary-part-24/
“I just knew that going to the locker room after the game wasn’t right. That’s what a loser does. I’m not a loser. They earned it. They took it from us. It’s right to tell them congratulations. I made sure I got to everybody. The coaching staff. The players. Security guys. Everybody. They earned it. They never quit. I just wanted to make sure I got to everybody.
“I just told [James] congrats and mad respect. Stuff happens on the basketball court. But I have respect. That will never change … I have a lot of respect for LeBron going back there [to Cleveland] and bringing them their first championship. It’s bigger than just this championship for them. That city. That state. It’s been a long time. He went back there and did it. He was supposed to do it for 13 years and he didn’t give up on it. He got it done. Much respect. He put the team on his back and never let him die.Comment

Draymond's temperament reminds me so much of John Starks I have to love him. He's the guy who wakes the stadium up when you're not cheering loud enough, I love his energy.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
They just blew a 3-1 lead in the Finals and lost Game 7 on their homecourt not even 48 hrs ago, how do y'all think they're going to feel right now? Lol
I wouldn't blame any of them if they wanted to lock themselves in the house for a week and sit in the dark playing Adele.
First it was, teams that shoot threes can't win. Now it's Thompson is not about to off himself.
No one said Thompson shouldn't feel awful."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
I mean you can make that connection indirectly and it wouldn't be wrong to say that it's true. It's apparent between his actions after losing and his choice of words with the "man's league/feelings hurt" comment that he has some growing up to do and is not a gracious loser. Draymond ****ed up the most and has owned up more than anybody. It's hard not to respect him for that.Comment
