The Warriors at the end of the game just either got tired because it's game 7 of the nba finals or fell in love with the 3. I think it's a mix of both.

Curry last 3 point attempt was a brick that hit the backboard (before the above). I think the Warriors had four 3's in last minute 4 minute. Only attempt in the paint was Iggy blocked shot. Klay did have a mid range jumper that missed as well.

At the same time, he was probably shocked at how well Love moved his feet in the moment ...Kev did a textbook job of playing defense...

Which I hope puts an end to a lot of Cavs fans wanting to move Love because he can't match up against the Warriors. He wasn't efficient offensively for a lot of the series, but his 3s, rebounds and defensive effort was huge for us, especially in game 7.

Hes still a pretty bad matchup, and it probably just got even worse as far as the Warriors go....I also wouldnt expect him to recreate that magic on an island too often...

but as along as she stays engaged and does what he does well at an elite level...you can always use him on the court..he got away from that after Game 1 and it hurt him

No I understand that, but I just don't like the idea of trading Love just to match up with one team, especially when we would never get equal value for Love. Cavs did the same thing in 09 when they traded for Shaq to defend Dwight in the playoffs, we all know how that went.

Who's going to challenge you in the East this year? The Celtics, no, we've improved but can't knock you in a 7 game series. The Raptors, bringing back most of the same guys back, no. Biyombo leaving is going to hurt them a lot. Indy maybe, but probably not. So why not match up better to win another championship. I mean you guys threw away a great piece for the future after Lebron, which I think isn't that far away, just to get Love.

Teams have improved in the East, but you never know what can happen during season.

Are you talking about Wiggins? Because I still do that trade 11 times out of 10. Wiggins is athletic and a decent scorer, but I'd still take Love over him for our team because of his rebounding, shooting and passing. Cavs did the right thing and traded for already established player, especially a guy who was considered one of the top PFs in the league.

LeBron in a line up with Wiggins, Kyrie, Dion and TT.... hahahaha Good luck! No way the Cavs go to the finals back to back.

He was guarding a guy dead set on shooting a 3. He could've stood still a foot behind the 3 point line with his hand up and done just as good of a job.

That works, if you ignore all the threes he makes from 2-3 feet (or more) behind the line.

Trading love makes no sense to me. What other PF/C fits the cavs? Only guy I can think of is Aldridge and even then he doesn't outlet pass or shoot the 3 as well which is what LBJ wants and needs, loves outlets to bron and other gets easy points and allows them to run more. LA is better in the post and pick and pop mod range though. Then the rumor of love for cousins doesn't make much sense either imo. Would maybe make th scarier with cousins and bron lol. Cousins can run the break well for a big. Great rebounder and good post scorer. Good mid range and not sure about him shooting 3s. Also I wonder how the cavs woulda meshed and been in future years if bron stayed in Miami and the cavs had a lineup of Kyrie-Waiters-Wiggins-Thompson-??? Nice young lineup, coulda been a decent/good defending group and good future. Plus wonder how they woulda responded to Blatt since that is what he signed up for.

Sorry for the long post lol.

There's a difference between a guy having an injury that takes about 2 months to heal and the other 9 guys having the "normal" bumps and bruises of a long grind of a season. But hey, if you guys want to believe that Kevin Love can all the sudden defend Steph Curry on the perimeter, be my guest.
