I liked them attacking mismatches tonight. The theme for the will be 'too much iso' but Lue touched on it in his interview what they were trying to do. The Cavs would love to shoot a bunch of open threes, but GSW is switching every thing, they aren't there to take.

Bron was finishing well until Iggy came in....but he still got to the basket off switches...just couldn't finish, even against line ups without rim protection. They start finishing those and that opens the floor up.

I don't know why folks consider Bron on the block an iso, it creates a lot of offense. They can cut down on some of those Kyrie black hole possessions though without completely taking him out of his game.....and when he gets a big switched on him he need to go to the basket.

Jus my view on it, it was an odd game.

It always makes me think that people don't realize how difficult it is to win a road Game 7 in the NBA especially once you get past the 1st and maybe the 2nd round.

24, my issue isn't "too much ISO" it's that there's nothing else going on outside of the ball handler.

Has he? I know he has always been able to score some and I know at least the first few months or the year he was playing well. Did he get hurt at some point and not come back well from it or something? I think he could give them some bench scoring.

Yea it was ESPN hadn't updated when I posted.

Its not impossible to win a game 7 on the road and coming into this I had Golden state in 7 and I don't think Cavs can do it in 6 even before tonight I thought if Cavs where going to win it was going to have to be in 7 because I thought they where close enough teams that I didn't think Cavs could beat them in 6.

GSW's just went through war in the last two rounds of the playoffs, all coming on the heels of playing so hard to get 73. They look tired...

Cleveland, meanwhile, has been waiting to play GS in the Finals for a year, they are healthy, the are rested, and I think they smell blood.

I am surprised I feel that way to be honest...but the more I look at it, that's the way I think it goes.

Completely went away from what they were doing offensively heading into this series, GSW switched a lot it seemed, but it shouldnt have stopped the off ball movement. All the switching the Cavs did that lead to open shots inside needs to get taken care of, as well as Lues rotations.

Cavs were in it until that Delly/Iggy situation, but there bench was great in the 4th for them.

He is definitely an improvement, he just went away from things, like he did in games 3 and 4 in Toronto. Game 2 should show what Lue is made of.

Nice game 1...3 more to go. Protect home court in game 2. Now time for Steph and Klay to get going.
