There are certain crimes that athletes are more likely to commit such as sexual assault, assault, possesion of drugs, etc... than piracy or coroprate crime.

would you agree that often times, the AA skin color is being policed rather than the crime, itself?

I've lived in quite a few countries and it's often the case that skin color / poorer neighbourhoods are the targets for being 'policed'.

Why? It's easier to get arrests, causes less social pressure on police / govt.

It happens world wide...

And it's hypocritical. The guy cheating $20 000 on his taxes is "less" a criminal than the guy who steals a $30 discman?

I would disagree because piracy and coroprate crime usually comes down to money. And we all know how well paid athletes are.

Drugs, sexual assault, and assault often don't involve money as the motive for their actions.
